Former House Speaker and Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich said the current GOP would be “incapable of competing” against Hillary Clinton should she run in 2016.
Gingrich on NBC’s “Meet the Press” called Clinton a “very formidable” person who is married to “the most popular Democrat in the country.”
“If [the Republicans'] competitor in ’16 is going to be Hillary Clinton, supported by Bill Clinton and presumably, a still relatively popular President Barack Obama, trying to win that will be truly the Super Bowl. And the Republican Party today is incapable of competing at that level,” Gingrich said.

You are right about the middle class and that middle class has to be strong in real jobs that do real things, other than just shuffling information back and forth. A kid with an average education needs to be able to get a decent job with a future and build on it through acquired skills and promotions. If we lose that, we’ve lost America.

Those non-working citizens didn’t demand a lifestyle that was comparable to that of a working craftsman, as ours do. If our poor lived in overcrowded dormitories, owned only what they could carry, and ate porridge twice a day, we could support them too while the rest of us work 60 hour weeks to keep the wheels turning on civilization.
There's a theory that you can build up your own industry behind a tariff wall ~ and the third world is full of tariff walls ~ seems to not work all that well for them.
The relationship was a koinkydink ~ the thing driving American economic expansion was multifaceted ~ first, technological improvements have a dynamic more powerful than any tariff wall ~ better a new device than an old device built by the locals. We also fostered the notion that the poor should learn to read ~ which at that time defied commonsense since only a few needed to read.

Palin has done more to shape a conservative Congress and Senate than anyone in America.
Even this year she gave us Ted Cruz over Dewhurst, and our only Senate pick up, with Deb Fischer, along with some congressional help.

What most refuse to acknowledge is that it was unlikely that ANYBODY could have beaten the voter fraud planned and perpetrated by the Obama machine. They seem to prefer pointing fingers, blaming Romney and blathering on about who to run in 2016 and how to suck up to the minorities.

No. Hillary does not give one crap about what people think of her. 47% of the people are hers, at least today. Romney d head should have stuck with that premise and gone with it. He was 100% correct. Teh rest, she can get one way or another.

When republicans figure out how to deal with that fact they can discuss running a candidate
Newt has great ideas. He has no self discipline. Many people hate him and hwe is not comfortable with that.
