Now that you mentioned it....most of the blue areas are the areas that will be lost to the ocean if there's ever a major quake or predicted pole shift. The melting ice caps would flood the blue states.

I’m not so sure going over the cliff and its aftermath will help. I believe this is Obama’s true goal. We know his goal is to drain the U.S. Treasury dry. He is literally giving $ away and spending it as fast as he can - no one has really opposed him yet in any meaningful way. Since the Repubs are caving, led by that spineless Leader of the House, what can really stop him. Don’t look for the electorate to “suddenly awaken” and oppose him. They’ll be too busy chasing after the Kardashians, Rihanna, Justin Bieber or watching Sinefeld reruns. After our systems grind to a halt and marshal law is declared, he will instruct that industry be taken over and run by the government (a la G.M.). Next, he’ll be coming after private property using the excuse that you are not and haven’t paid your “fair share” (of course you won’t pay because you’ll be broke, with only your non-monetary assets, home, and land left). Obama will be added in this with the usual union thugs, lawless mobs and hangers-on - all looking for their fair share. Of course that’s when CW II starts. Be sure your ammo locker is well stocked. Obama and the Marxist machine are on a roll and I don’t see where there’s much to stop them. I think the end will come pretty quickly now. Prepare for reeducation camps and “gruel helper” meals.

And by design, it's not supposed to be sustainable. I firmly believe that we're in the midst of a communist revolution in the US, and I believe that the Cloward-Piven strategy is the biggest weapon in their arsenal. Once things totally go to hell, the political enemies (conservatives, middle class, Christians, etc.) of the regime will become the scapegoat upon which everything is blamed.

Hey, the 60s radicals infested the media and academia a long time ago, and have been working their butts off to achieve their goals. Now, it's coming to fruition.

As to "let it burn" or not, it really doesn't matter. It's going to burn no matter what. We're along for the ride.

It’s unbelievable how many people have no clue how much debt the fed builds up every year. They seem to think the government can spend unlimited amounts of money no matter how much debt there is. There’s going to be a lot of surprised and very angry people out there when the fed gravy train goes off the tracks.
