I agree that “re-education camps” may be in our future, but first Obama must finish gaining control of what is left of the real media. I expect a new FCC “fairness doctrine” to kill talk radio and muzzle Fox News and some pretext to censor the Internet by banning access to “offensive” web sites. Once Obama has complete control of the media then he will follow the lead of people like Caesar Chavez and Danny Ortega and seek to gain absolute dictatorial power and rule by decree. I have long thought that November 6, 2012 was our last free presidential election and that in the future we will be “voting” for a single hand picked candidate. Fortunately our Founding Fathers thought of this possibility with the Second Amendment.

Back in the late 60’s the Belefontes’ had a summer home in upstate, N.Y. Mrs. Belefonte went shopping one day and lifted several items from the local store.

...one thing is sure, there will never be peace in the US, given the sorry state of society, until one side utterly destroys the other side. CWII is the vehicle to "settle" all disagreements.

Reasoned arguments and gentle persuasion do not, and will not work these days.

...for instance: the left are always "arguing" for "fairness"...but they will not even consider the "fairness" of 47+% of Americans living off the largess of the Americans who chose to work....and on and on.

I would be surprised if we don’t see this over the next four years. Conservatism will be labeled “hate speech” and groups espousing it, “hate groups”, and that will be the license to arrest and imprison members and leaders of groups who oppose the regime.

Arming yourself won’t make much difference. In the case of societal breakdown, rioting, etc., yes, but that, especially any defensive violence in the face of it, will just be used as further justification for invoking “special powers” to arrest and imprison members of the now “increasingly violent” aforementioned “hate groups”, and we know very well from the Clinton years exactly how effective armed resistance is when the fed’s are coming for you.

Establishing redoubts in red states and making sure that state and local governments there are firmly under the control of those who believe in freedom is probably the most realistic way to protect yourself.
