Yes, but he’s putting his religion/customs ahead of duty. I am sure there is somebody else who would wear the regulation uniform but is not a guardsman because of this Sikh.
They are good guys. Had a Sihk doctor when I lived in the UK. He was a sweetheart.

I’m with you. We should have raised a Sikh regiment in the wake of 9/11, similar to the Gurkhas. I’ve been saying that for about a decade.
