Harkin: Limbaugh Manufactured Fiscal Cliff

RUSH: Did you know that the fiscal cliff is my fault? The fiscal cliff has been manufactured by me to scare you. I don't know when I did this, but Tom Harkin was on some Web show that the Huffing and Puffington Post has and the hostette, somebody named Alicia Menendez, who probably doesn't like the Apple Maps app, was interviewing Tom "Dung Heap" Harkin, and they're talking about the fiscal cliff. She said, "Do you hold the conservative media accountable?" Now, stop and think. What kind of wizard of smart do you have to be to in any way to relate conservative media or any media to the fiscal cliff? The fiscal cliff is the result of a budget deal expanding the debt limit negotiated by Obama and Boehner, what, about a year ago? Something like that. And so now, "Dung Heap" Harkin gets a question from the Huffing and Puffington Post about the conservative media being accountable and asking, "Do you hold them accountable? Is that why the American people have an overblown sense about the challenges that we face?"

HARKIN: The Rush Limbaughs and the echo chambers around the country have really manufactured this. This crisis has been manufactured by the conservatives to scare people so that we must do something here in a hurry. They have confused people deliberately in order to try to get their way. It's like hostage taking.

RUSH: I apologize for that audio. I'm sure it came through the Apple Maps app, ladies and gentlemen. What Tom "Dung Heap" Harkin was saying there was that, "Rush Limbaugh and their echo chambers around the country have really manufactured this. This crisis has been manufactured by the conservatives to scare people so that we will do something here in a hurry. They have tried to confuse people, trying to get their way, it's like hostage taking." This is sheer insanity. This is absolute, total lunacy. Of course I'm denying it. I had nothing to do with the fiscal cliff. You can argue about whether or not it's a crisis. I mean, if we go over the cliff the birds are gonna be chirping, the homelessness will be begging, the sky is still gonna be blue, the takers are still gonna be taking, and taxes are still gonna go up on the rich.

No. I didn't manufacture this to hold anybody hostage. I didn't manufacture the fiscal cliff. Actually, you think I ought to admit it? Yeah, I did do this. This is absurd. Crisis, do something in a hurry. That's Obama. I mean, one of the reasons that we don't have a budget is so that every expenditure is a crisis. We haven't had a budget in three or four years, which is in violation of the Constitution, not that that matters anymore.

I guess I was wrong. I thought the Fiscal Cliff was manufactured by the dems in a project to raise taxes and blame the republicans.

Turns out it was all made up by the Leader of All Republicans so they could get their way without blame!

The first I heard of anyone using the term ‘fiscal cliff’ was during a testimony by Ben Bernake.

Well, he did fly planes that flew combat missions in Vietnam. For a Democrat that's first rate. At least he didn't demand phony medals like a few other notable politicians for accidentally fragging himself.

Nice to see my pet name for ol’ Tom has caught on ... and he does remind me of a dung heap, moldering and sticky.

Tom “Dung Heap” Harkin has been on the DC cocktail circuit too long. His mind has become soft and, in his mind, the world around him is one blurry mess. It is an example of the world of today’s Marxist Democrat who has forgotten the Constitution and the idea of preserving our freedoms. It is a world of total logical confusion with all reality one blurry mess.

The reality is clear. The only way to fix America’s budget problem is spending cuts, regulation reform and no tax increases. Anything else is propaganda and dangerous to America’s economic recovery.

Zer0 and his Marxist foot soldiers have sold the American public an economic fantasy that misuses the idea of “fair share.” Their use of this phrase has poisoned the low information masses to think that the one percent have not paid their “fair share.” They forget that this nation has sought to minimize the tax requirement of the rich in exchange for the responsibility for growing the economy, increasing the available capitol and supporting new jobs. These activities, and more than what can be imagined, are more than their “fair share.” It is a huge responsibility and it is the triumph of America’s Capitalistic system. It is what they do that has created the greatest share of tax revenue and most of the burden of making America work.

The “fair share” nonsense is an example of the zero credibility of our President. It shows how he will use an utter falsehood to play the low information public. Such behavior shows he has zero integrity and is another reason why we don’t call him “Zer0” for nothing.

It is time to start the impeachment process. Then, before the Christmas recess, send a no tax increase, budget cutting bill to the Senate.

Of course he did! Rush manufactured the fiscal cliff exactly the same way the rich stole all of my family’s money and forced me to grow up poor.

Um, has anyone seen my brain? I seem to have misplaced it.

We might as well admit it...Rush makes us buy stuff we can’t afford. Rush makes us buy new BMWs. Rush makes us get $60k in credit card debt. Rush makes us $9 bottles of Canadian glacier water to drink at the office. Rush even forces us to buy prime rib every time we eat out.

Aw, gee, that's brutal. Bet he forces you to have some decadent side, as well... mashed potato... creamy soup... crunchy salad smothered in dressing... possibly even pie. That man is so, so, so, over the top.
