“Why is everyone blaming Bonier?”

You actually believe that Boner is “the last guy standing?” Get serious, he’s all about himself. He is leading from behind. I am actually heartened by the moves to take away his speakership. You have to believe he’s getting worried that he’s stepped over the line with these committee assignment take aways. When you are loosing the “war,” you need to find a new general with a new plan. We are there! I just hope that the requisite small number of good Conservatives in the House have the fortitude to kick his ass out. He is a singular disgrace as a “leader.”

The reason to take down Boehner is that he’s a proven quisling.

The way you get people to quit selling you out is to make selling you out be more expensive than anything they can hope to gain by selling you out.

Boehner needs to go not just for this issue but for all the future issues to come. He is incompetent and cannot handle the job.

Boehner represents Ohio.

Ohio voted for Obama!

Boehner cannot represent republicans anymore.

Obama OWNS Boehner!

Boehner MUST GO!

Let me first say: GO FU*K YOURSELF!

Secondly, Boehner doesn't even put up a fight against this guy. Once again, Boehner and the rest of the GOPe are compromising with themselves; ready to give the Kenyan whatever he desires!

Funny you don't have any outrage of Boehner getting rid of all Tea Party House members from committee seats. Please tell us dumb-shit, how does this “bring anything good”?

You are a 1st class putz!

The first two options you expressed are just about identical to what I posted yesterday, with the exception that I did not tie extending the Bush era tax cuts for <250k taxpayers to eliminating the AMT, which is a great idea.

And for the third option, my recommendation would be to not tie increasing the debt ceiling limit to anything. Instead I would tell Boner/Boehner to absolutely declare that the debt ceiling will not be increased by even one single penny, period. And the go home for the holiday, and let the demturds & 0dumb0 & the media huff & puff & go insane trying to convince the Repubs to raise the debt ceiling, instead of them cutting spending. Unfortunately Boner/Boehner is so scared sh_tless of 0dumb0, that he will never do any of these three options.

Way to go FReepers. Destroy the Republicans, one by one.

Unless we’re going into full revolution mode, with guns and gallows...

I was with you up to that point.

What the hell makes you think that continuing to support the feckless GOP will bring any good?

You do realize that the GOP's Fiscal Cliff plan will put us at $18.4 Trillion in the hole by 2015 versus Obama's $18.9 Trillion, right?

Why even bother?

Equally as troubling as Boehner are his spineless henchmen, the “Casper the Ghost Republicans”.

Hey, leave John alone, he has a bad job. He is doing the best he can considering all of the opposition he gets, even from his own party. Go ahead, raise taxes on the rich, and let the rich do as they did in France, move. The Frenchies have moved to London and other countries and taken their wealth with them...

"What the hell makes everyone think that trashing what’s left of the republicans will bring anything good? Look where it got us with the election. Well done, simpletons."

Romney losing the election had nothing to do with Conservatives supposedly "trashing" him. Let's stop with the phony revisionist history.

He is squarely against conservatives so if he lives through this near death experience, he will become more aggressive against the GOP base, not his Dear Reader.

The Rinos came out of election blaming tin man Romney’s loss on conservatives.

Try to keep your eye on the target. It is not the tax increase, but the spending cuts. Everyone gets wrapped around inevitable tax increases while Congress, the COurts and Excecutive Branch keeps spending like drunken Soldiers.
(As a retired Chief, I never like the the phrase “like a drunken Sailor” hit too close to home.)

My point is I think the finger pointing is misguided. This isn’t Romney’s fault...the So-Cons...Akins...the GOPe..Boniers...

The voters had a real clear choice in this election. Higher taxes..more regulations......Abortionpalloza at the DNC with Sandra Fluke...a drunken Jennifer Granholm...free condoms...free health care...hopey ...changey...gay marriage. “TOLERANCE”...Magical windmills that will produce enough power to light up LA, Chicago and NYC

Or better jobs, less regulation, cheaper energy and higher GDP.

Hey I don’t know what to say cept give em what they want. When you have a really bad hand to hell with bluffing. Cut your losses. Sit tight and wait till the hopium wears off and when the music stops playing make sure we have a seat.

They destroyed themselves. This is not about the fiscal cliff for me. We will probably in the end have to let Obama get his way. It's about Boner having bark and no bite. When you continually play chicken with the Dummies but flinch each and every time, you lose all your respect, from enemies and friends alike. He should be asking for advice from the Tea Party caucus, not punishing them.

It really isn't about the fiscal cliff for me. (Let Obama own that one). It is about the fact Boner is gunning for the Tea Party members, and that he has a history of talking tuff and then backing down, again and again and again.

Why is everyone blaming Bonier?

Because he has a history of caving. That and his recent purge of conservatives from important committees.
