A 12-year-old girl who uses a wheelchair was left in tears after TSA agents detained her for nearly an hour at a Texas airport after saying they found traces of bomb residue on her hands, her mother claimed today. Shelbi Walser was travelling to Florida with her mother, Tammy Daniels, for treatment for her brittle bone disorder when she was stopped at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in Texas. A TSA agent swabbed Shelbi´s hands and she tested positive for explosives. But the wheelchair, which is likely to have transferred any substance to her hands as she pushed it

The only reason I would ever fly again is if someone told me there’d be many dollars waiting at the end. And it would have to be many.
The last time we flew my wife forgot to pack her very expensive hand lotion in the checked baggage. It was a 6 oz bottle that wasn’t even half full. The big “michelle obama looking” agent obviously didn’t have the intelligence to subtract 3 from 6 and come up with 4. My wife had to leave the bottle because the rule is no more than four ozs per bottle. Per bottle! I can have 10 4 oz bottles but not one 5 oz bottle.
Meanwhile, individuals in muslim garb just mosey on through. Why I no longer fly.

What they do is not random. My wife's brother is a TSA agent (embarassed to say so, however he is an ass and we hate him). He had told us that anyone giving the hint of backtalk that they will automatically slow down the checking and give them hell. And snicker about it. Jerks, all of them agents. As I said, we hate him and exclude him from family events.
Now we know that even some of the Texans are lacking in basic common sense and will continue accordingly.
What is fertilizer? The article said something about having chickens, and the wheelchair could have rolled through it. I used to have rabbit cages, they stunk underneath from the nitates in the waste. Good thing I wasn't flying back then with today's checks, as my clothes and shoes certainly had ammonium nitrates from the rabbit waste. The stuff sure made my garden lush.

This is a very large part of why I am driving nearly 2,000 miles EACH WAY for our upcoming vacation. Avoiding the TSA perverts and goons was a definite plus.

The Nazi Gestapo pigs had a modicum of training to fight on a battlefield. Even with that, when confronted with armed troops or determined partisans, the gestapo ran away like scared rats. The fat-asses in the TSA gestapo wouldn’t last five minutes in a firefight.
The ATF, FBI and TSA are nothing more than federal government terrorists whose sole purpose is to assault and murder women and children.
The TSA is targeting the highways too. It's coming soon.
Somebody who really wanted to mess with them would discretely spill some in the trunk of a taxi that did a lot of airport runs. Every bag put there would test positive. Or spill a little on the airport carpet and let it get on the shoes of everybody who walks on it.
In this case, it's likely the wheelchair picked up some residue from somewhere.

We took a flight recently into the small Clearwater, FL, airport (”PIE”). It was fine. However, for the return leg, going through Security at the little chicken-sh!t airport, the agents were some of the nastiest we’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I though it was just me, but DH was in a different line and he, too, was treated wretchedly. The SOBs at LAX had been our baseline, but PIE TSA SOBs are very close.
