‘False flag’ comes to mind. Colorado, then Oregon, now this.. We’ve all heard how 0bama’s second term was going to be an assault on the 2nd amendment, and VOILA! He’s got all the reasons he needs to do so, now.. I still want to know more about the psychiatrist who met with the Colorado shooter before he completed his mission.

What do the you FReepers think they will do? of course it will be a EO but what exactly?

They executive branch can enact an immediate import ban on all firearms. Period. Hunting, assault, pistol, etc.

They can do the same for ammunition.

They can stop all transfers of Class III firearms immediately and/or increase the fee from $200 to $200,000.

Congress won't pass it, but we are one Supreme Court Justice away from nullification of The Second Amendment.

The libs are going to get their way this time. I hope they like the crime wave that we be the guaranteed result.

Second Amendment supporters/gun owners should organize a massive march on Washington, DC, and stay there creating all kinds of protest. Contesting totalitarian government is what the 2nd Amendment is all about.

CT already has the 4th most restrictive gun laws in the nation! All the Liberals want to do is further subjugate law-abiding people.

I will not surrender my rights and freedoms to emotional blackmail!

20 kids being murdered is horrible. But I don’t see flags being lowered to half staff for soldiers who die everyday.

It’s sickening how the libs are using this for political reasons. I guarantee there are idiots obama worshippers out there who are convinced Lanza was a tea partier.

There aren’t enough brownshirts to disarm TX.

Bloomberg is a dolt.

I was going to buy some more guns. But I don’t think it would be smart to spend money on something the government will take away. And that day is coming.

Bloomberg probably thinks that another gun law (on top of the thousands we have now) will stop things like this. What naivete and immature logic.

Obama should only disarm the people that voted for him. Granted, that may have not stopped this shooting, but would stop at least 90% of all other shootings

Baning firearms has nothing to do with fixing crime it is about propagation of government power.

Last month we had a National referendum on government power. The voters want more government and higher taxes for the other guy.

"Meaningful action"

1. Banning soda machines 2. Banning table salt 3. Restrict serving sizes for foods served in the cafeteria. 4. Banning Green Eggs and Ham.

When it’s time to bury them, it’ll be too late. They don’t have to take them. All they have to do is enact a law that fines each gun $10,000 and each round of ammunition $1,000. Other than some of those militias everybody is pretty much on their own. A one on one fight against the government is a loosing proposition. So far it’s 60 million gun owners who are not organized. Prohibition failed but look what it cost.

I heard an audio clip on the radio of a snippet from Holder’s speech today. He said, paraphrasing, “We need to take a look at our freedoms...”

Something wicked this way comes.

They should propose a law that no gun be used for criminal purposes. Wait, that law exists.

They should require background checks, so 20-year-old crazy people can’t get guns. Oh wait, they do.

They should make it a crime not to keep your guns from 20-year-old crazy people. Oh wait, that is a law already.

I know — a law making it illegal to bring a gun near a school.
