Like most people, I was repulsed to hear about the murder of innocent children by a lunatic in Connecticut.
While I understand a crime of this magnitude probably warrants a response, if only in rhetoric, by the federal government, I also wondered why other less "visible" deaths are ignored.
Look, we FREEPers publish almost on a weekly basis some story or stories about innocent people dying because of the action of someone in these states ILLEGALLY.
We also recognize that every day, with no real medical necessity, innocent babies are torn from the womb of their mothers.
These actions happen "one at a time", and not in one "mass" action, so they go unrecognized. Alas, the political class (and increasingly, our society) has come to consider death by illegal alien and death by abortion as "normal".
I ask: does anyone have reliable sources that provide tallies on the number of innocent people killed by abortion and illegals in our nation?

I think the numbers are grossly undeestimated , my work in the downtown area takes me past 2 “clinics” that have anywhere from 30-60 customer cars in their lots each “procedure day” and this isn’t a “hotspot” like the PP clinic in the “Holders people” neighborhood or in Miami.
I’m quite sure that any clinic other than PP under-reports and claims no cash sales on their income taxes. I KNOW for a fact they re-use disposable single-use items like cannulas to reduce their costs (who cares if you use the same tool in 20 women and give them all the chlamidia customer #3 had!) ,, re-using tools also is a necessity if they are ever audited by the IRS.... as there SHOULD be a 1:1 correlation.

When same sex marriage and mass murder of the unborn become socially acceptable, when our kids in school are no longer allowed to mention God’s name, when public prayer is no longer allowed but muslim prayer is allowed to stop traffic in New York, when ‘Merry Christmas’ is replaced with ‘Happy Holidays’, when a Christmas play is cancelled because an atheist objects and when a crucifix is placed in a jar of urine for the sake of ‘art’ and when elected officials do not represent their constituents we should not be surprised when bad things happen in our country.
When those who proclaim to be Christians are man enough to mock God, they should be man enough to suffer the consequences.

I don’t find it reprehensible to be having this discussion at all. In fact, I think the two topics (yesterday’s slaughter and the ongoing slaughter of abortion) are morally equivalent.
What’s the difference between gunning down a five year old & dimembering a 16 week baby? Nothing.

Nope. And outside of the Free Republic echo chamber, most Americans do see a difference. Pro-lifers are going to wind up with egg on their face if they try to politicize yesterday's tragedy by turning it into an abortion debate. Newsflash: The way to winning hearts and minds is first and foremost to not drive people away by looking like a gaggle of unhinged cranks.

Illegal Aliens must have killed hundreds of American children.
They kill black teenagers in NJ and Cali. Drunk illegals with many DUIs have killed many children.
Assuming illegal aliens have killed between 1000 and 10,000 American citizens as a low estimate. At least hundreds must be children. Small children are less likely to survive being run over by illegals.
RINO Chris Christie needs to be investigated to see if he let local cops check at least for violent illegals as NJ Attorney when the Newark massacre happened.
Ive been waiting for a conservative lawmaker to come out and bring up the chldren killed by illegals. No one is bringing this up.
