Hillary in Hiding
The American Thinker ^ | 12-17-12 | Daren Jonescu

For once, I am inclined to believe Hillary Clinton. The U.S. Secretary of State, suffering from a sick stomach, has reportedly fainted and bumped her head. As a result, her spokespeople have already announced that she will be unable to testify at the Benghazi hearings, although she was not due to appear until December 20, many days after the vaguely reported fainting spell.

Already, the internet is resounding with a chorus of "How convenient!" (See here and here, for example.) Many, upon hearing this news, are assuming that Clinton, who has been hedging for a month on whether to appear at the congressional hearings, has concocted yet another excuse to avoid facing the music on a scandal which, if pursued with integrity, would likely end her political career, to put it mildly.

I, on the contrary, would like to give Secretary Clinton the benefit of the doubt on this one. Though I have never participated in a cover-up involving the brutal murder and defilement of people under my direct employ, I can only imagine that if I had, and if I were being called on the carpet to answer questions about my role in events

I could not consider any scintilla of political or moral support for this elitist extreme-left piece of work....
..... if she was running for dog-catcher...
--OR--
...street-sweeper.... etc.

Pardon my blunt (Monday) assessment....

It is a test of the GOP’s integrity. Let her get away with it, or . . . .

It is a test of the GOP’s integrity.

Why would anybody want to test them again?

Haven't they failed EVERY SINGLE TEST provided so far?

Has Boehn-head apologized yet?

Where the hell is President Hillary? Wot? She's upstairs? She fell down and hurt herself yesterday?

subpoena the lying hag and if she doesn't show, then cite her for contempt. that ought to end her political career

Bumped her head, she is going to hide until 2016, she needs to be charged in the murder of those in Lybia. That would bring this hearing to the front. Tired of hearing about the sick cow. This is another front that the Communists are running our country are trying to use to keep these hearings from going forward.

Thanks. Delightfully Poe-etic.

The officers were satisfied. My manner had convinced them. I was singularly at ease. They sat, and while I answered cheerily, they chatted of familiar things. But, ere long, I felt myself getting pale and wished them gone. My head ached, and I fancied a ringing in my ears: but still they sat and still chatted. The ringing became more distinct: —It continued and became more distinct: I talked more freely to get rid of the feeling: but it continued and gained definiteness —until, at length, I found that the noise was not within my ears.

is this week's illness and fainting spell just a convenient excuse for avoiding her responsibilities, or might it be the pounding of a tell-tale heart?

.....Hear the loud alarum bells,
Brazen bells!
What a tale of terror, now, their turbulency tells!
In the startled ear of night
How they scream out their affright!
Too much horrified to speak,
They can only shriek, shriek,
Out of tune,
In a clamorous appealing to the mercy of the fire,
In a mad expostulation with the deaf and frantic fire,
Leaping higher, higher, higher,
With a desperate desire,
And a resolute endeavor
Now—now to sit or never,
By the side of the pale-faced moon.
Oh, the bells, bells, bells!
What a tale their terror tells ,,,,
Of Despair!

You know the “W”itch was never going to testify. Married to the First Rapist and condoning it all, why would she care about the rape of America?

The Clintons were merely the dry run for an Obama regime.

Trial balloons du jour.

PS...wanted to send Web Hubbell’s overbite offspring a congratulatory wedding card, but just couldn’t find the appropriate words. Instead, might send a gift card to Planned Parenthood and tell the Bosnian Bullet-Dodger not to punish herself with a baby - EVER.

Benghazi nursery rhymes:

It’s raining
it’s pouring
the old gal is snoring
she went to bed and she bumped her head
and she couldn’t
testify in the morning

Nothing and I mean nothing that these people do is surprising. The Clintons were born reprobates and continue to this day to be reprobates.

They are like a case of herpes...there is no apparent way to get rid of them.

If the House of Reps cannot or will not deal with Ms Clinton, they are a bigger bunch of fools than they appear to be.

This looks to me like an easy task...just issue the summons to appear before Congress.

If she does not, hold her in contempt and then go for criminal contempt.

If contempt is all, then as little as it is, I will take that.

It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.

Excellent read. Congress took Hitlery up on her offer to take responsibility for her highly paid position and in return, she called in sick. This explains why she and her husband are such a perfect couple, they're both dirty weasels.

She has a perfectly reasonable excuse, much like one she offered almost two decades ago:

“I’m sorry, I was at home tossing cookies.”

RE :”My question, however, is why this illness and minor injury, from which she is purported to be recovering happily at home, should be considered an acceptable excuse for not having to testify about a scandal in which she was a major player — a foreign policy disaster for which she has expressly declared herself the buck's final destination.”

Hillary is a deviously brilliant one for sure.
She made sure she was never available for comment any-time anything went wrong, any crisis. But when-ever it was time to take credit for something she was on camera.

Claim: Hillary Clinton Convinced Obama to Go After Bin Laden (Aug 21, 2012 )

And being a past member of the Senate club who will call her out?

The only thing that could stop her from winning 2016 (POTUS in 2017) is that she now looks like Jabba the Hut, and is not likely to improve that in the next 3 years. Doesnt the State Dept have small gyms in those embassies? Any idea who Chelsi's dad really was? Vince Foster?
