oh- is that true?
I didnt know- i just read this new theory and hey- i believe everythign on the internet, dont you???
fort hood shooter had all those video games in his apt..../s
Yes, it’s true. Both the medical examiner and state law guy who held the news briefings, said she was shot in the head those several times.
You see, I don’t have a life except for my Yorkie,:o),and didn’t have to leave the house Friday, Sat., or Sunday, so I watched this go down from the time it started. Over those three days, I didn’t miss a news briefing. I knew this was a game changer for this country and wanted to have the straight facts as we went along.
***this is the 1980s again.***
No, it is more like 1968 after the murder of Bobby Kennedy.
Blame guns, toy guns, TV shows like Gunsmoke, comic books, pulp novels, cartoons, movies.
Yes, more like 1968.
you are right, I am talking about those videogames. There should be a variety of warnings in RED letters using much stronger wording. Using the word SICK is a start. Also, DANGEROUS is a descriptive word. Let’s get serious with media like we do about cigarettes, tobacco, obesity, being fat, drinking cokes, etc. We need regulations and rules on media like we do on our every day living. The media is ruining our youth. I’m done
The media only does what we let them.
Parents and a power button.
We need more regulations like we need a hole in the head.
Oh, wait. Never mind...
It’s good to see video games FINALLY being discussed.
I think we need less regulation on all of those things. I think we need greater personal and parental responsibility. The government is nothing but force.
I hope you're kidding.
“I hope you’re kidding.”
Why...why should we give a pass to an industry that lusts in blowing off the heads of the “bad guys”?
Only on FR can someone lament “gun grabbers” and “blaming the gun” and then, in the next breath, blame the video games. Either it’s individual responsibility or it isn’t. You can’t have it both ways.
The will to live is very strong and can cause the aim
to be off. I once read a detectives report of a
expug boxer who killed himself, he shot himself 8 times,
with a revolver, that meant he had to reload at some
point!
Also many people do not know WHERE to aim, some just blow
their eyes out or lobotomize themselves, some shoot their
jaws off, then it’s a long process.
Also women usually don’t destroy their faces.
Obviously her son had some “issues” as they say.
It’s CLEARLY the video games. ANYONE that has male children in that age bracket (like myself) knows it.
The idea that some kid can spend most of his awake life killing people for pleasure in your XBOX (I know, they nagged you to death), and still know the difference between killing REAL people just ASTOUNDS me. Maybe some disconnected parents actually believe that, but not me.
Sad. It’s no wonder we look so ridiculous in these debates.
“Sad. Its no wonder we look so ridiculous in these debates.”
Agree - we just sit there like a bunch of ZOMBIES while the left, as twisted as they are, proposes solutions.
In other words, it’s time for the VIDEO GAMES TO GO!!!
How many more dead children do we need?
So I suppose since I play these video games (playing “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” as I type this) AND I’ve been in real combat in Iraq, then I must be one seriously deranged person, ready to MDK anyone/everyone around me. Better watch out, America!

I agree, there’s NOTHING to be gained by having you exposed to this CRAP. It needs to end. How many kids have to be gunned-down before we all agree to that.
