A new poll has New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie leading the 2016 GOP presidential field.

Cory Booker for Gov in 2013. Stop the RINO in his tracks.
We’re a long way from 2016.
No thanks. I like Christie in his role, but he is the absolute wrong person for the presidency...at least in our party. He’d actually be a palpable Democrat candidate.
This is why he stuck it in Romney’s back after Sandy
The liberals are busy pushing their candidates already, I see.
Then count me out as one who even think about supporting him or the GOP. I am a conservative and will not give the GOP the time of day.
The MSM and RINOe already selecting the candidate for the next election. Good luck with that.
First it was Jeb Bush, now it’s Christie Kreme? I guess I’ll stick to my original plan of sitting out the 2016 election...
They deserve each other!
Oh God, spare me. People: he’s a lousy governor. Just ‘cause he’s not as rotten as Corzine is no reason to support him.
Absolutely NOT! But I’m sure the GOP-e folks in DC will be glad to tell me how Christie is the only “Electable” canidate in 2016.
Tea Party here we come. Got room for millions more?
Leading the GOP field in what? A pizza-eating contest?
Just say NO to that big tub of guts.
At the rate we’re going, there won’t be a 2016 POTUS election.
We didn’t have a 2012 one, after all.
Personally, I’d wait until at least 2015 before making any predictions that there will even be an election, let alone who might be running from the Leftist and the Further Leftist parties. Not to mention a 3rd party candidate from the “Marx was a Right-Winger” Party.
HELL NO! Christie is a good part of the reason we have to put up with another four years of stupid.
Yeah, Christie will do so much better than Romney. Right.
Four years from now, when the GOP-E has foisted Christie or Jeb Bush on the nation as the Presidential nominee, it’ll be fun to watch the “Vote for the R” crowd here calling the third-party Tea Partiers traitors for not bending over in support.
Yup. We hold the house already and we just gerrymandered the hell out of countless districts. It’s time to dig in tight there in the House of Representatives and refuse to budge on anything. We need to stop working with the democrats. No more cooperation. No more RINOs. No more crying and reaching across the aisle. Time for scorched earth.
That’s true, although the election bells and whistles rang out. The next event will most probably be an executive emergency edict followed by a cursory installment by the CJOTUS.
Millions of us will have no say because of the primary voting system. I’m not getting behind another northeastern “republican” Christie won’t get my vote if he’s the candidate. Neither will Jeb Bush . 2016 is years away politically.
Gov. Crisco is the GOP frontrunner?
Or is it `frontwaddler’?
Anyway, the rest of the field must be walking awfully slow.
Yep, since Christie betrayed us and since I don’t live in NJ, I may have to think about a donation to Booker.
If a fit, successful white guy could not get elected I don’t see how an oversized white guy would do any better. Especially since the oversized guy is probably more hated by conservatives than was Romney.
Not to be morbid or harsh, but he might have a heart attack by then. The man is extremely overweight and 50y/o.
Good! May the stupid ass republicans lose it all!
What ever RINO comes next will be supported by ALL plantation conservatives... Same song, next verse.
Zero should send that meathead to Africa. He could feed one of those starving countries.
by 2016 if this country is still standing it will be in dire need of a CONSTITUTIONAL PATRIOT to sit in the WH. No matter how slick Gov. Christie talks he has proved himself to be an insider and not worthy to be the president of this country. He kissed obozoâs ass and it was shown all over the TV news as they both toured the hurricane’s destruction. When the Union bosses voice favor of a politician as they have for Christie, that in its self divulges a lot about the man and his politics. He is no CONTITUTIONAL PATRIOT and he is not what this country needs in the WH in 2016 or ever for that fact. If the power elite want him in the WH and if things have remained the same regarding the US’s fraudulent election system that put the obozo in the WH, then Christie will be president in 2016 no matter who the people want.
I have no love for RINO’s, but I absolutely despise traitors. Christie will always have a following, but I doubt enough of one to win the GOP nomination. His opponents will have plenty of footage of Christie gazing into Obama’s soft brown eyes.
Unless we are experiencing a depression in 2016 (which is possible) due to dempgaphics the GOP is finished as a nationl party. We no longer have the numbers to elect a GOP president. We have reached the tipping point. Thanks to all those FANS of LEGAL immigration we have pulled in over 40 million new voters from the third world since the 1965 Immigration Act. Almost all those new immigrants are poor & in many cases can’t even read or write.
Welcome to the “new America”.
Another gun hating RINO?
No just “no”, but “f*ck no”...
Yeh, a poll of Democrats.
He’ll be lucky if he’s still alive in 2016. He always look like he’s on the verge of a heart attack.
RIGHT!!! His big mouth stopped Romney dead in his tracks. No other Governor wanted to be seen with Obummer.
Here they go again!!
Christie would make a great candidate..... for the democrats.
Send that cow to pasture.
Welcome to the new America.
I'd say the GOP as we currently know it is finished as a national party. However, the GOP will simply morph into whatever is necessary to be competitive. Major political party's are designed to win elections. The GOP will dump whatever agenda bits it feels are preventing that. This means the party will move left - probably mostly on social issues. No different than conservative party's in Europe. As those nations veered down the path of secular socialism, the right of center party's adopted more of the left's positions. Unfortunately, that is just how it works until some event or major social change pushes things back to the right - which could be due to economic malaise/collapse, a black swan type event, etc, etc.
Don't count on the voters doing the right thing though. The American public that could be counted on for that is dead or dying off. The current version of the American public is no more politically savvy than the Mexicans who voted for the same socialist party for 70 years, or any number of other countries that have voted for leftist party's over and over and over again for generations. Until the system completely collapses and it is obvious to everyone social welfare states can't survive, people will keep voting that way.
I want to win, I will make my selection on which one I think more likely to defeat Hillary. To heck with issues, no one cares. The American people are ignorant and this election will be on purely superficial issues.
I’ve got news. If Christie is the nominee in 2016, there will be no GOP by 2018.
I agree, but when the new leftist GOP gets formed they will have been out of power for over 20 years or more. Then, and only then, you might get an Ike-type elected. Conservatism as we have known it is finished in the USA. There’s a “new people” who have been moved into the country to replace the curent population.
I am for Michelle Bachman. Let the Dems try their war on women BS on her.
I wonder how many people on this thread will be rah-rahing the next wussy GOP candidate in 2016, and screaming down those of use who won’t support leftists, regardless of which party they claim to belong.
You may get Michelle, not the one you want but the other won.
The country is already gone. At this rate, if this blubber tub Obama ho was the only choice, I will stay home.
