Just got home...hair cut, then to Costco to drop off an empty ink cartridge. My fingers can barely type they are so cold.

I’m off tomorrow, but parental appointments at 10:30a, 11:40a, and 2p...hoping to get the electric folks to come somewhere in there to fix the fried electrical strip and whatever caused it.

Busy, busy day.

Glad you could avoid all the wrecks...lots here with slipping and sliding. Some people are too dumb to slow down.

Good morning, Canteen. Good morning to our

AWESOME

Military, our Allies, and their families.

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities.

DC Metroland weather report

~ Today...Partly cloudy this morning.
A few showers developing during the afternoon.
High 49F. Winds ESE at 10 to 20 mph.
Chance of rain 50%.

~ Tonight...Windy with periods of rain.
A few rumbles of thunder possible late.
Low around 45F. Winds SSE at 20 to 30 mph.
Rainfall possibly over one inch.

Not going to complain about that prediction.
I believe we are still well below
our normal levels of rain.

Gotta post and run. A very busy day ahead.
Got reports to start on
so I can get them done by tomorrow.
And we have our office party today.

I'll be seeing you later tonight for a brief posting period.
And if I get a lot done today
I might be able to hang around the Canteen more tomorrow.

The FR Canteen is ALWAYS

Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

REMEMBER THEM ~ DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

Well, I'm happy to report the winds are starting to die down.

Half of Duncan lost power earlier this morning due to the strong winds. Also some street lights were knocked out and some of the Christmas display at Elmer Thomas park in Lawton were blown over.

Highest wind gust measured at Ketchum Ranch by Velma, 50 MPH.

Gooood chilly morning, Early Birds!
That blustery day brought cooler temps...
...it is more like winter weather now! :)
Of course, it'll warm up by Christmas.
Well, for me...maybe not for you!
Stay warm and dry and have a GREAT day!
((((hugs))))
