RE :”Every conservative group and Mark Levin is against this bill. You can google the groups that are against.”

As is Pelosi and Obama are against it, and lining up House and Senate Dems to vote against it.

I heard him yesterday on this.
Look, I know Levin is upset that his taxes are going up on the money he earns over $1M but he should not be telling his listeners that this bill is raising anybody's taxes because that is an outright lie.

This bill stops our taxes from going up, it DOES NOT RAISE THEM.

That fact that he knows he cant speak the truth on this shows how wrong his position is on it.

I nailed a Rush post on this today too.

Do they program you or can you understand the different between raising taxes and cutting them?? Are we allowed to think for ourselves or is that liberal (they tell you) ?

So when your heroes on talk radio tell you that this B bill is RAISING taxes do you believe it???

This is a key question.

Your original reply to me implied that it was tax increase but I noticed you did not follow up to my nuking that idea with that specific claim.

Do you think the B bill raises anyone’s taxes?

No they don’t program me. Even though I am not wealthy, not even close,
you seem bitter of those who have made their success. It is you that seem
to engage in class warfare, like the democrats.
This bill will not pass the senate and Obama will not sign, even if it did.
You may think you will get a break by taxing the rich, but the DC Party
will come for your tax bracket, as well in the near future.

My understanding is the bill Bonehead will attempt to pass tomorrow will
raise taxes on people earning a million or more.

Yes, I very bitter at those like Rush who are demanding that my taxes and the taxes of everyone I know be raised by Republicans , and for no good except to help Obama and Pelosi.
Yes, that royally pisses me off!

Targeted tax cuts is now championed on a site devoted to limited government.

Face it, “the people” desire their government programs society can't afford. We are spending over 40% more than we are taking in, therefore either everyone pay up or start getting serious about cutting and getting back to Article 1 Section 8 and the 10th Amendment.

RE :”Agreed

Thanks.
I have been no Bohner fan but I can understand the difference between raising taxes and cutting them, especially on 99.8% of Americans.

Here's a vanity I posted weeks ago that lays out how a B bill like this nails Obama, which means opposing it helps O and Dems.
Here's what the Republican House must do on taxes right now, and what will happen if they don't (Friday, December 07, 2012 1:01:08 AM · by sickoflibs)

I have had it with *our side* helping Dems win these fights. Its long past OLD.

Good luck on getting the DC Party serious about making cuts.
This country will collapse before that happens.

By the way, you have not posted a single argument to me yet,

All you have posted to me so far is “XXX says...so we must do what they said because they said...”

Do they tell you that you must be a mindless robot to save this country?

Always prepared I will lay out for you EXACTLY how the the plan of those against this tax cut B bill would play out as it has time and time again.

1) House Republicans listen to this guy and say ‘ taxes on the middle class 99.8% MUST go up unless we get a tax cut full extension for the 100%, for all that income above $250K ($1M now) too. We will not extend them without the others. We dont leave the job producers behind. We won the election.”

2) In January taxes go up (assuming it gets that far)

3) Obama gets on TV and Townhalls telling middle class voters that their taxes are going up because Republicans once again are putting ‘the rich’ ahead of them.

4) MSM hounds Republicans asking them if they are happy they ‘raised taxes’ on the middle class

5) House Republicans get flooded in a tidal wave of angry emails and phone calls from those who voted for them.
They try to go home for a visit and there are angry mobs around their house with signs
I am sorry I voted for you. You raised my taxes you lying #%%$$”, many are white and 50 + obviously not ACORN.

6) The stock Market tanks

7) House Republicans even the most ‘conservative’ go to Bohner and say “WE made a big mistake. We need to cut those taxes (under$250K income) and put this behind us. My voters want to kill me” just as they did with last years FICA.

8) The House quietly passes the extension in secret just as they did FICA last February.

9) Obama signs it declaring that the Rs finally saw reason

10) The stock market recovers some just because the panic is over sand no one knows that the resulting Obama tax increases hurt the stock market because they think house Rs crashed it and O saved it.

11) Obama gets credit for saving the economy. AGAIN.

12) House Republicans don't challenge O again for the next two years. So the Republican party melts down in civil war. Dems bayonet the R wounded.

13) In 2014 election Reid and Pelosi get back the same numbers they got in 2009.

14) January 2015 Congress passes a bill making Obama King. (no more filibuster to stop it)

15) Those who called for going off the cliff blame voter fraud and that MSM for O svictory. They say that other-wise their 'raise taxes on the middle class' plan' and blame O would have worked great.

Debate??
You have not made any points except to imply that I am not good because I don't just post “XXX is against B so we must be too” as you did.

What did you debate?

On the money.

Boehner is refusing to play into the narrative that the Dems were hoping for.

Kabuki theatre. Until they have a 5 year plan which gets to the historical ratio of gov’t spending to private sector GDP, it’s all phony demagoguery. I estimate gov’t spending will have to be 25% of what the gross spending is now across the board. Both parties are tyrannical misfits. Screw them since they screwed you. Tar and feather, repeat.

RE “On the money. Boehner is refusing to play into the narrative that the Dems were hoping for.”

Key point : this is NOT a tax increase(as many on the R side are claiming) , it is a tax cut extension for all Americans WHO PAY INCOME TAXES even those making >$1M. That is why O and Pelosi oppose it.

I dont know if this bill will pass the House and I hope it does but just watching Obama and Bohner contrast on TV tells me that in January that Bohner House will pass a much worse bill than this with Dem support, much like we have seen in the other similar standoffs.

Last night TV acts :
Obama is cool and collected and gets on TV and plays it up as Mr reasonable :
I have given Republicans most of what they asked for. They need to learn how to take ‘yes’ for an answer. They always oppose their own ideas just because it is me calling for them
, then he takes questions from the MSM.
And the Dem team lines up behind him because they LOVE beating Republicans

In contrast Bohner gets up looking very weak and uncomfortable and says :
WE are passing this tax break for 99.8% of Americans and so if those taxes go up its Obama’s fault”, then he runs off the stage looking scared.

Then his tax cut extension bill gets attacked by his own base groups threatening primary challenges for those voting for it, INSTEAD demanding that they vote to to 'throw us off the cliff' so all our taxes go up. They apparently LOVE seeing Obama whipping their own (the House Rs) team and humiliating them.

So here is their big alternative 'throw us all off the cliff' plan:
1) Republicans make a stand that the 99.8% must get a tax increase just because the 0.2% will get one , then taxes go up on everyone rather than just the 0.2%:
2) Republicans blame O for the tax increases they themselves called and voted for in demanding we ‘go off the cliff’
3) Voters believe Republicans when they say that that O raised them, even after they read their(Republicans past) posts advising Republicans to ‘jump off the cliff’ because the MSM tells them its all Os fault, and so they call up Dems and Demand that they cave to all of House Republicans demands.
4) Reid passes a full extension of tax cuts, plus the additional tax cuts Romney promised, plus the ones Newt promised, Obama signs it in secret.
5) Republicans win 2014 big with filibuster proof Senate for 2015 and 80% control of the House, then they impeach Obama, Jim DeMint wins the WH in 2016.

With *plans* like this what could go wrong? again? and again?

Your points are valid. I like #5, especially DeMint being President.
