Although well-intended, I’m not sure arming more employees of the labor unions is such a great idea.
This is great. Open Fire Zones are the primary problem.
Between having babies, nursing babies, and grad school, the one thing I’ve wanted to do yet have continued to put off is get my CCW. I’m almost the last in my family to do so. I’m also a high school teacher. If Ohio allows teachers to carry I’m in.
It’s one of the faster ways of converting people to our side. This is not a bad thing.
Several female teachers are active members of our Tea Party.
Don’t they have armed, plain-clothes `sky marshalls’ on airplanes? Why do liberals force people to put their kids in their lousy schools, then leave them less protected than air travelers?
The problem is not guns, it’s people with mental problems.
And the solution to a bad guy with a gun is ... ? Buehler?
If Ferris were here he would say—A good guy with a gun.
See, the bad guys will always have guns. Even if guns are illegal. We’re all on the same page with this one.
But most lefties will have trouble with this logic, so they will try to take all the good guys’ guns away. Then things get really ... sticky and that’s really unfortunate.
That they’re so stupid, I mean. Most lefties are as dumb as 20 oz. Estwing framing hammers. Talking to a liberal is like trying to carry on a conversation with an Irish Setter.
I’ve got an idea: Let’s ban guys like Chris Matthews. But it hasn’t come to that yet and hopefully it won’t.
I live in a rural area. A few years back, some of the high school kids, were taken to the Ashbrook Center to hear Wayne Lapierre.
I could see the teachers in my school district arming themselves.
Just heard today that my granddaughter’s school now has an armed policeman on duty every day. Local sheriff there said he had deputies on duty who do nothing but paper work all day and they can be paid to do paper work at the school. So the school gave them an office. Now that is what I call solving a problem on the cheap. The school shall remain nameless as will the state in which it sits. That is how much I trust MY government (/s)
“Talking to a liberal is like trying to carry on a conversation with an Irish Setter.”
I agree with most of what you said...HOWEVER, I would much rather talk to any of my 4 dogs than ANY of my IDIOT, lib, UAW, die-hard Democrat, Kucinich/Obama-loving, Cleveland relatives. Trying to reason with them is an exercise in futility.
Your sheriff is on the ball!
Those that I've owned were more intelligent and better conversationalists than any liberal I've ever known. None of the Irish Setters required a teleprompter.
Sadly, not my sheriff, but sheriff where my grandchild goes to school in another state.
My Wolfhounds don’t require a teleprompter either.
The Irish have a talent for eloquence in conversation.
Tell me about them. I was owned by two. Both females and lucky for us, unusually long lived. Our first, a pick of the litter, lived for exactly 8 years. Our second, a rescue, (we were told she was18 months old) lived almost another 11 years. Fantastic, intelligent companions and protectors.
The daffiest dog I’ve ever known was a Springer spaniel. How’s that?
But I too would take a dog any day over, say, a humanities associate professor.
Now I’m going to hear from the spaniel crowd ... simmer down y’all, back I say!`Beau’ was a good ol’ boy, just, ah say, ah say, *high-strung* is all ah’m sayin’, a spirited pup, yeah, that’s it.
I'm not a crowd. I rescued a 6 year old, deaf, male, liver and white springer 2 1/2 years ago. Couldn't ask for a more affectionate, devoted, intelligent dog. He lays right on my feet while I'm at the computer. I move, he moves.
This is my first experience with the breed and I'm sure I was blessed.
I’ve had Wolfies since 1988...Maggie, Maire, Enya, Siobhan, Medbh, Fiona, Ruari, Clare and Aife.
The longest living one lived one week after her 9th. birthday. You are VERY blessed to have one live to 12.
The only bad thing about the breed is their short lifespans. They never act hyper — not even when they’re pups. And they don’t act up in the house. NICE, NICE dogs.
I dread the day when I’m too old to have one.
