It’s true, Christ isn’t weak or unstable like Mohammed. However, He is holy, also unlike Mohammed, and His name is sacred and not to be used as a joking play on words.

I agree with you.

Even though screwed, we’re wrong if we don’t keep trying.

Never ever give up!

As an American patriot devoted to the US Constitution and it's God given 1st Amendment right to free speech—the more offensive the speech the more in need of protection—I will confess anyway my lack of proper respect for the Savior in using his image to make a political point.

You have my sincere apologies madam.

Happy Rain, thank you sincerely, and God bless you.

A Merry Christmas to you and yours.

In faith, it is a given for us both.

(though the season has been a little trying)

The point is not lower taxes.

The point is limited government. The GOP has given up trying to explain or defend limited government as a principle, and has turned instead to fiddling with tax rates as shorthand for limiting government.

It doesn’t work, because whatever the tax rates, they never actually limit the government’s reach, they only vary the amount of the deficit. And no one is inspired by an argument about tax rates. So the GOP winds up looking like a bunch of bean-counters instead of the party of liberty.

Until the party makes a real commitment to the country’s founding principles, which is liberty and limited government, they do little more than enact the DNC’s agenda at a small discount, and slow marginally the rate of economic collapse, and then take the blame for it.

"The point is not lower taxes. The point is limited government. "

Government should be right sized. During war, economic recession, or disasters, the size of government grows. The way to curtail the growth of government is to skip the elective wars, stop jobs from being exported and prevent disasters. During the good times government should be reduced. Bring on the good times.

The GOP is protestant politics.
Democrats are Catholic politics.
Others just join in from time to time, switching sides conveniently.
