Sir Richard Rodney Bennett, one of Britain's most versatile and talented composers and performers, has died peacefully on Christmas Eve in his adopted home city of New York, aged 76.

Actually I am more familiar with RRB than with Charles Durning.
RIP.
Many people attribute the score to Richard Rogers.
In reality, Rogers wrote several themes. Bennett expanded on those themes and did all the actual scoring. He also contributed much of his own original music.
