NBC News asked D.C. police for a high-capacity ammunition clip to use as a prop on Sunday’s “Meet the Press” show, a request District authorities said Wednesday they denied.

But host David Gregory appears to have obtained one anyway — and then displayed it on national television. Now D.C. police say they’re investigating whether the District’s gun laws were violated in the incident.

On November 17, 1992, NBC was responsible for rigging an exploding gas tank in a GM car in a special titled “Waiting to Explode.” This network relies on scare tactics for ratings and has zero credibility. David Gregory should be sent to jail, just as any other lawbreaker would be in D. C.

‘Insensitivity’:
A person who holds up an evil gun magazine or `clip’ to another person, with the intent:
(1) that the other person become alarmed, offended or flibbergibbeted against the other person’s will;
(2) that the other person be placed in fear of becoming another victim of senseless gun violence; or
(3) of causing:
(A) a dwelling, a building, MSM minitrue office or another structure; or
(B) a vehicle or Chevy Volt;
to be evacuated;
commits insensitivity, a Class A misdemeanor.
(b) However, the offense is a:
(1) Class D felony if:
(A) the magazine or `clip’ is held up, waved or brandished in any manner;
(B) the person to whom the insensitive act is communicated:
(i) is a law enforcement officer;
(ii) is a judge or bailiff of any court;
(iii) is a witness (or the spouse or child of a witness) in any pending criminal proceeding against the person making the threat;
(iv) is an employee of a school corporation;
(v) is a community policing volunteer; or

(C) the person brandishing the magazine or `clip’ resembles a wooden puppet, to wit, `Howdy Doody,’ and has a prior unrelated conviction(s) for the dissemination of bovine excrement under this section concerning the same victim(s)

Hoping this doesn’t get back to these news-loons, but they could just claim they were able to drive into Virginia and buy one....except when the program aired, there were none to be had.....anywhere.....brick and mortar, or online. Saw one shop that had a few that normally went for 15.00 selling at 89.99!

Barack Hussein Obama
Hairy Reed
Nancy Pelousy
Diane (Not so)Feinstein
Sheila Jackson Lee (who made an emergency trip back from Mars where she is looking for the flag Neil Armstrong placed)

After all, Gregory is one of the left’s biggest cherleaders and on of zero’s personal press secretaries. He CAN’T be persecuted by the police for trying to stick it to (how did zero put it?) people “clinging to their guns and religion.”

I’ve seen comments where folks say “so what, it’s only a max $1,000 fine. Or “up to” a year in jail. Which, AFAIK makes it a felony. Which also, AFAIK deprives the perp of his civil rights for a good long time.
