President Vladimir Putin signed a controversial measure banning the adoption of Russian children by U.S. families, the Kremlin said Friday.
The action could affect hundreds of American families seeking to adopt. Americans adopted close to 1,000 Russian children last year, according to U.S. State Department figures.

I remember after the fall of the USSR (Thank You RR) a Russian women so happy to be out from under that oppressive regime saying: “NEVER AGAIN will we allow government that much control over our lives”
Well unfortunately Putin is just another thug with too much power at his command and if that woman is still alive she is once again living under more government control.
When will the world ever learn that “leaders” can be the most dangerous thing to human life?
They “lead us into war” all while sitting well protected hundreds/thousands of miles from the fight. The more tools they are given to lead from behind (like our boy wonder Prez) the more dangerous they become as they are well insulated from the average citizen.

In the US children who are legally free are adoptable. Legally free means that they are US citizens, do not belong to the Tribes and both bio parents have signed off on the adoption. Bioparents cannot be married. That is the bar to jump. Done it four times. My kids are in their teens and twenties now.
Tsar Putin embraces this hypernationalist crap to prop up support for his dictatorship, at the expense of children’s lives.

Poor planning by Planned Parenthood. Their failure to suggest adoption instead of abortion would have taken good care of this issue. IMHO
