Three New Jersey police officers were reportedly wounded during a shooting inside the Gloucester Township Police station.
MyFoxPhilly.com reports that the suspected shooter has been shot and killed.
One officer was undergoing surgery early Friday, while injuries to the other officers were minor, sources told the station.

So much for the argument that you never see mass shootings in police stations and gun shows....
3 wounded is not exactly a mass shooting.
At least the cops were immediately on the scene for a change.

and none of the cops died. The only one who is dead is the shooter who started the entire incident. Pretty good outcome given the circumstances. The fact anyone would take on the police inside their own station will be overlooked by the media and the emphasis will only be that a shooting occurred with the hope of making the same point the poster above makes about “so much for mass shootings not taking place inside police stations, etc”,,,no discussion of mental faculties will be had.

To the contrary - if this had been a gun free zone - like god forbid a school - this would have been a whole lot worse.
The shooter was stopped with a bullet or 30.
It might have been a mass shooting if it had occurred in the UK. Speedcuffs and Extendable “ASP” Batons are no match for a man with a gun.
Oh and I notice in the article that the gunman didn’t walk in shooting,,he was already in the station on some domestic violence issue and he obtained the gun through a struggle with the cops,,so,,,should we no longer arms the cops inside a police station?
Well, color me embarassed. I just made that exact same argument on another thread not a couple of hours ago..I’d like to read the story but the fox link doesn’t work for me. Just starts to load and then disappears.
A “mass shooting” is by definition when you shoot more than one person. How would you define it? 6? 11?
Perhaps there was only 3 cops on duty.
The suspected shooter was shot. Sure hope they got the right guy!

Shot with one of their own weapons apparently. Spur of the moment thing. I say that all police officers have their guns made safe by installing gun locks on them to prevent this in future.
He was hoping to say "I'll be back", but never got the chance.
