I really hate Democrats, and will never vote for one. I also hate Republicans for bending over and allowing the Democrats to have their way with them.

Every day in Obama world is a nightmare. I hope the GOP shuts down the Senate if they try this.

If McConnell ( and Frist too, he was also a gelding ) had any
cohones they would have an
Old Fashioned Fillibuster where they take the floor and talk for 24, 48, 72 hrs non-stop other than to go pee and have all members their and take turns discussing their issues or why they are against
theirs...I am so over the E-GOP when do we start our party....

Isnt it funny how there is no gang of 14 or whatever to defeat this when a dem is in power? When the GOP takes over, they wont have the balls to do the same thing to the dems. They will fight for the rights of the minority. They are one in the same. Both bought & paid for by the elites for the elites.

When liberals don't like rules they change them. Of course, everyone has to back off so they can do their nasty business.
All that's necessary is for good men to do nothing.

The US government now functions like the Ukraine or Nazi Germany.
The rule of law is gone.

“The only card left for the GOP to play is push for proportional allocation of electoral college votes in states like PA, etc.”
This should be done in all states. Then the holder of the office of President would reflect the true intent of the people, rather than the intent of large urban areas that can use voter fraud to skew elections in the winner take all format we now have.
The House reflects the feelings of the people currently, and is closer to the people (elected every two years, not six). The Senate originally was intended to reflect the wishes of state legislatures, not the electors.
Remember the red and blue voting maps, showing counties voting Republican. Even California had large red areas.

Republicans say using 51 votes to change Senate procedures and to prevent the minority party in the Senate from blocking a majority-vote amounts to breaking the rules to change them.Welcome to pure democracy - only now the two foxes are the Dims and the chicken is the Repugs and it's time to decide who's for dinner. Maybe they will take vigorous action instead of just caving again, but I get the feeling that they want the same things the Dims do - they just don't have the gonads to actually say it out loud. Who would have figured that the Lefties were less cowardly than the Right???
