Well, at this hour of the last day of 2012, 10 days into the new Mayan calendar, it's become quite clear that the United States is falling off the much-looming fiscal cliff. Or perhaps it won't. Or maybe if it does, the Washington clowns will do something to reverse the new taxes and severe budget cuts in the next few days. Or do part of something. Or maybe not.
Got it?
As five or six of you probably saw, President Obama made a rare appearance on a Sunday talk show yesterday to put his spin on the events or non-events. He sounded pretty pessimistic. Downright downbeat, in fact.
"I was modestly optimistic yesterday," Obama told David "Ammo Clip" Gregory of NBC's Meet the Press, "but we don't yet see an agreement. And now the pressure's on Congress to produce.....Obviously I think business and investors are going to feel more negative about the economy next year.....What's been holding us back is the dysfunction here in Washington.,,,,
"The other part of the fiscal cliff is Congress agreed that they would cut an additional $1.2 trillion in spending. They put a committee together to try to come up with those numbers. They didn't figure out how to do it. And so what we now have is a situation where these automatic spending cuts go into place."
What the president didn't have time to explain, apparently, is that he ran more than four years ago and spent about three-quarters of a billion dollars of other people's money on a campaign with the premise that he would unite the contentious capitol and move the nation forward into a new era beyond partisanship through hope and change.

Bush AGAIN?
As far as obama and his deciples are concerned, Yes. And for them it will continue to be so well past eternity.
Isn’t Gregory currently under investigation for a felony? Shouldn’t the secret service keep suspected felons away from the president?...excluding congressmen of course.
Lessee, he relegated Republicans to the "backseat" (nothing racist about that, was there?) early in his first term. Then he began dictating to Congress what he wanted.
And, when the 'Pubbies offered him alternatives, he spun that as being "obstructionist", "Bush's fault", or simply not helpful. Because it wasn't EXACTLY what he wanted. And it's been that way all through his first term.
Now that he has been "re-elected" (through fraud, cheating and outright deceit) his inability to get EXACTLY what he wants is due to Bush and the "obstructionist" Republicans.
Well, cry me a freakin' river, zero. The blame game has gotten extremely old and most of America (except your mind-numbed sycophants) are tired of hearing it. So, is EVERYTHING "above your paygrade", or just the stuff that you can't get done your way?
