So, gun control advocates like John Cobarruvia, Donald Kaul and others are calling for felony penalties and death for NRA members and gun owners in general. Why not advocate for the same penalties for homosexual activity and promotion as is being pushed in Uganda? Well, some oppose homosexuality like they oppose gun ownership, so why not? We might as well all be open about our opinions about matters. Now that I've posted this, does this mean I am to be investigated for instigating violence and the individuals calling for the death of NRA members and gun owners who have done nothing should be ignored? It looks like we've arrived at the point where disagreeing with someone is apparently permission to publicly call for that group/individuals imprisonment and/or death. Maybe I'm missing the big picture here.

By the way, Jesus would want us to make an effort to convince the homosexual to abandon homosexuality and become a christian, not kill him/her. Simply trying to show the hypocrisy of the leftist, immoral, Godless ones.

I’d heard hat his had already been passed, but from this it looks like this witch hunt is going on hold for now — maybe indefinitely.

Sodomy is a despicable thing, but from other reports this proposed legislation goes way overboard beyond banning sodomy to bringing accusations at hints of homosexual attitudes. To use another metaphor, this is a recipe for a can of worms.

What this witch hunt in Uganda has to do with other witch hunts in the USA, I have no idea.

Pharisees are rampant in Uganda these days.

Though I've always found everything to do with homosexuality sickening and repulsive in the extreme, I used to have a more live-and-let-live attitude about them, as long as they stayed out of my face. However, don't-ask-don't-tell was going too far and a huge mistake, and I always understood that.

But with the recent all out assault on holy matrimony, that is HOLY MATRIMONY (it's not called 'holy' for nothing), any tolerance I had is out the window. You can't be tolerant with an implacable enemy. You can't be tolerant of evil. The death penalty for gays and their most ardent enablers and life for the lesser friends of sodomy is fine by me.

This is not just tit-for-tat, calling for their death when they call for ours. This is a tactic we must adopt to ensure our own survival. Destroy the enemy or he will destroy you. And harbor no illusions about it, homosexuals and the left lust for the destruction of Christianity and America.

Uganda knows a thing or two about the topic after being a target of the Gay Lobby for many years:

[Harvard Study:]UGANDA’S SUCCESSFUL STRATEGY AGAINST AIDS BASED ON CHASTITY
July 24, 2002

KAMPALA, Jul 23, 02 (LSN.ca/CWNews.com) - Uganda may be on its way to wiping out AIDS by using a strategy based on chastity and fidelity, according to findings in a Harvard University study. The Harvard study credits abstinence education with “significant effectiveness in reducing AIDS in Uganda ... with the HIV infection rate dropping 50 percent between the years 1992 and 2000.” (snip)

The United Snakes is the only country in the world where AIDS is spread worse by homosexual conduct than heterosexual conduct. Uganda got its heterosexuals to behave better. I’m not sure what this has to do with the current witch hunt which will probably fail, but is just weird.

Uganda got the attention of the Gay Lobby because Uganda took a moral approach to the HIV problem and worked with the churches. Homosexuals can't tolerate that. They have been tormenting Uganda for decades now.

And if they can’t get Uganda to ignore Christianity then the next best thing is to get Uganda to devour itself in a witch hunt so they can then get the world to point and mock.

“In 1778, Thomas Jefferson wrote a law in Virginia which contained a punishment of castration for men who engage in sodomy, however, what was intended by Jefferson as a liberalization of the sodomy laws in Virginia at that time was rejected by the Virginia Legislature, which continued to prescribe death as the maximum penalty for the crime of sodomy in that state.”

If you actually bother to LOOK at the proposed law in Uganda, it’s not mere “sodomy” that is the object of the ban.

It is something much vaguer which might include a brother hugging another brother.

You are not budging me one iota from pointing out that there is a witch hunt here, and that you are being a useful idiot for the witch hunt.

I see no reason to interfere...

None of my business if the execute homosexuals.

I don’t live in Uganda.

If Uganda (or Islamic countries, for that matter) execute homosexuals, I don’t care.

I refuse to interfere.

I see no reason to defend that filth, the homosexuals hate this country and I won’t defend them.

Caryl Chessman went to the gas chamber in 1960 for sodomy convictions.

I agree with your posts.
Uganda.. Whatever.

(shrug)

Homosexuals should leave Uganda and move to San Fransicko if they want to feel at home.

There are a lot of things we shouldn’t interfere in.

And we should hold liberals to their own standards of not interfering with other cultures.

I say bring every soldier home from abroad.

Let the Europeans defend themselves.

We are not a military welfare program.

Wow, I just read his bio on Wikipedia. His stay of execution came seconds too late! I bet the girls he attacked were relieved to see it happen after all the liberals supported him.

Who’s name calling? I am scientifically identifying. You are the one who is being “typical.” Swoon for anything that puts “execute” and “homosexuals” in the same sentence and don’t give a damn about the details in which the devil is. (Or for that matter, even a damn about the gospel, in which a witness of those delivered from that sin could never happen there because they would promptly be put to death for their former sins. If you want law, you get lots of it. If you want grace you get none.)

If you care about Christianity, you care enough to see Christianity done correctly.
