Governor Chris Christie appreciates that the House finally passed a $9.7 billion Sandy relief bill, and in a joint statement with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, he expressed hope that the House would pass a bill providing $51 billion in further relief.

Governor Christie

@GovChristie

While we are pleased with this progress, today was just a down payment…

A down payment? How about we, the US taxpayers, invoice your obnoxious fat ass 6 billion plus interest for each of the next 10 years?

He’ll skim 10% for his donut fund.

A “down-payment”? Wow - this guy is turning into a real jerk.

He also expresses a desire for a “clean” bill? IOW, suggesting there might have been some pork?.....but he still wants the full 60 Billion....allrighty.

Turning? He turned a while ago.

Lost respect for the guy when he gratuitously knocked Palin.

Yep, he’s a wannabe tough guy but this right here reveals that he’s really just an 0bama Phone Lady.

You’re right....he started showing his true colors some time ago....I’m just sick of hearing from him especially after his public love affair with obama right before the election.

Lost respect for him when listening how he spoke to his constituents in press conferences. He loved to grandstand and insult people. He always had a my way or the highway approach and some here loved that, but why would we want another narcissist in power? No different whether representing the right or the left...

Since this guy took office several years ago, New Jersey has moved from #2 from the bottom in business friendliness to # 2 from the bottom in business friendliness.

After a promising start, he petered out when it came to reducing the awful burden of state regulation on businesses.

Anti-gun, pro-illegal and Muslim-loving, he has been a catastrophe who thinks he deserves better things - like the Oval Office, God help us.

Maybe he should run for Speaker of the House. At least he could do a better job than Boehner.

I heard a report this morning where the insurance companies are claiming total storm damage of $20 billion. It’s amazing how a billion dollars is considered chump change these days.

They misused the funds that had gotten before Sandy- and the state is in trouble anyway. Sandy is actually what is going to help them.. but they need that fed money to create some jobs in rebuilding. It is no wonder Christie is a boot likcer, when he realized that Obama held the purse strings.

Obama just won another election and has to pay his bundlers the hundreds of millions they’ve come to expect. If he can’t add enough pork to existing legislation watch for a new ‘stimulus’ bill.
