"The Harbinger' appears just as Obama's party begins!

"Inauguration Day or Judgment Day?"

In the early morning hours of Jan. 21, the day President Obama is scheduled to be inaugurated, the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast will be sounding a powerful warning to Washington, D.C., to – in the words of its keynote speaker – turn from its prideful ways or face the judgment of God.

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, the controversial author of “The Harbinger” – the startling New York Times bestseller that claims the U.S. is receiving the same divine warnings ancient Israel once did … and following the same path to destruction – has been chosen to deliver the keynote address of the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast, to be held from 7-11 a.m. at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park.

Other distinguished guests – including Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., Dr. Pat Robertson, Jan Crouch, Pat Boone, WND Editor and CEO Joseph Farah, Rosemary Schindler, Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., and others – are also scheduled to appear at the breakfast to lead prayers for the nation.

No book in 2012 made more of a national impact than Cahn’s “The Harbinger” – remaining on the New York Times bestsellers list longer than any other title.

Part of its appeal: The shocking signs appearing in the U.S. today, even as Democratic leaders – like former Sen. Tom Daschle, one-time presidential hopeful Sen. John Edwards and even President Obama himself – utter the same prideful words spoken by ancient Israel in Isaiah 9:10 that prompted the judgment of God.

“The bricks are fallen down,” Isaiah 9:10 reads, “but we will build with hewn.......

We have voted in leaders to bring about our own destruction.

Our elected leaders have pandered to
the most perverse and perverted agenda.

We as a Nation have cursed YHvH after His warnings.
We have called down on ourselves the curse of Isaiah 9:11-21

After years of pagan idolatry, YHvH allowed the hedge
of protection to be lowered and the nation of Israel
was attacked by the Assyrians.

On September 11, 2001, YHvH allowed a breach in our hedge of protection.
The following day, Democrat Tom Daschle called down a curse on America.
On September 11, 2004, Democrat John Edwards repeated the curse on America.
On February 24, 2009 Democrat Barack Hussein Obama repeated the curse for the third time.
(Matthew 18:16; 2 Cr 13:1; Deu 19:15 & Amos 3:12)

The stock market fell 7% on Sept 17, 2001
( 29 day of the month of Elul)

Seven years later on the 29th of Elul,
it fell again 7 %
At the end of each Sabbatical year,
all debts are made worthless.

Seven years after the attack on September 11, 2001,
We elected a man to lead this country whose
whole persona is built on lies.

In 721 BCE, the walls of Israel were breached.
The nation's leaders with pride and in arrogance
of heart cursed YHvH.
See Isaiah 9:10.

Isaiah 9:9 .....Asserting in pride and in arrogance of heart:

Isaiah 9:10 "The bricks have fallen down,
But we will rebuild with smooth stones;

The sycamores have been cut down,
But we will replace them with cedars."

This nation was dedicated in St Paul's chapel
located at the corner of Ground Zero.
The Sycamore tree at St Paul's chapel
was destroyed by a steel beam from
the World Trade Center.

The New York Stock Exchange was
chartered under a Sycamore tree.

Ten years after the initial breach
the nation of Israel was attacked
and overrun by the Assyrians.
Half the nation was captured
and taken off to imprisonment.

I love metaphors;
they teach those who have ears to hear.

by Jonathan Cahn

if my people,
who are called by my name,
shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.
Seek YHvH in His WORD !

Ask and you will receive His Salvation !

But Jan Crouch? Really? I loved the book though - and my daughter asked me about it the other day saying all the nurses she works with were raving about it. So she is reading it now.

True. However, the idea is that God is trying to get our attention with some harsh lessons and motivate us to turn back to Him, so he allows us our own way, removes the training wheels and padding and lets the teaching opportunities we've earned for ourselves happen.

The more we dig in and hold fast to our faith in ourselves, our abilities and our arrogance, the greater and more painful the test, with 9/11 and the financial crashes of 2008, being two recent big events

If we go too far down our mistaken path away from the One who brung us to this dance, we'll get leveled with the next one.

As it is, it looks like 2015 will be very, very unpleasant, in an Old Testament sort of way, probably with many little events along the way to help pull us back from The Big One.

I highly recommend this book and have given many copies to friends, family and complete strangers. Few things have made God and the Bible more relevant and real for me than this book and biblical and American historical info and background it reveals.

I've posted this thought a few times, but I pray that obama has a conversion away from the destructive ideologies he and the demonrats have turned loose upon us.

But if not, then let Proverbs 16:18 ("Pride Goeth Before Destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall") be his future.

On the other hand, perhaps obama is Proverbs 16:18 for us, the arrogant, wayward children who got too big for our britches and think we've outgrown the covenant the Founders made?

At the rate obama's going and we're going, obama will bring us both our fall and our destruction and around half of us voted for it...not once, but twice. Not good.

Maybe the uptick in crazy, the shooting mass murders, the sharp left turn hurricane Sandy made right for NYC, the heat waves and drought we're dealing with, etc., etc. are all a part of the same thing? (And it isn't algore's global warming BS)

Rood has a bit of a past and can be a bit abrasive at times. However, IMO, he is one of the most knowledgeable persons of Biblical scripture and its history living today.

I have been thinkinng A LOT about this, but I sense we could very well see a second American civil war. How ironic tonight that I say this because today one of the nominees for the Oscar is the movie “Lincoln” about the “first” American civil war.

Me, too. Watching the events of our day unfold, it's hard not to think about where things are headed. Why must we make these same mistakes over and over and over again???

I had heard about another book that has also turned out to be an unexpected surprise so far: My Descent into Death by Howard Storm.

It's the first near death experience book I've read and I've found quite a bit to think about and practical advice to test and follow in it.

I didn't get much church or formal religion growing up and both of these books/authors have helped transform what had been sort of theoretical for me into something real and verifiable. Challenging and comforting at the same time, both have offered me another perspective from which to view and understand these unfolding events of our time, as well as some of the challenges in my personal life.

Apparently, all the help we need is just waiting for us to ask for it...and still we turn away. How did we get so stubborn?

Sadly it goes back to the taking out of prayer in the schools.
