In 1991, a man named George Hennard drove his truck through the front of a Luby's Cafateria in Killeen, Texas. It wasn't an accident. He hadn't lost control of his vehicle but instead was there to kill. After crashing into the restaurant, Hennard jumped out and started killing as many people as he could.
Dr. Suzanna Gratia was there that day eating lunch with her parents. At the time, it was a felony in the state of Texas to carry a firearm inside a purse and Gratia left her gun in the car. Al Gratia, her father, attempted to rush the Hennard but was shot in the chest. She tried to escape through a back window while Hennard stalked his defenseless victims inside the building as they desperately tried to get away with their lives. Her father was killed and her mother was shot in the head while holding her dying husband of 47 years.
The following video is of congressional testimony Gratia gave 20 years ago. It is important to point out New York Senator Chuck Schumer was there, listening with an arrogant, bored and disrespectful look on his face. Although many lives have been saved as a result of people having the ability to properly defend themselves with firearms in public places since the Luby's massacre, Schumer is still pushing for people like Gratia's parents to become victims of violent crime today by pushing for more gun control and less self defense.

He certainly is. During hearings on the Waco massacre his condescending smarmy remarks to the survivors was one of the most monstrous displays of callousness and arrogance I have ever heard.
I was trying to focus upon the helpless terror victims feel in the midst of such a defenseless slaughter. Democrats apparently want more of that s they can disarm US and make more helpless victims. The democrat party (democrips) and their voters seem to be the party of death. Look at little barry bastard boy commie. He defended the sustained slaughter of alive children who somehow survive abortion attempts! And the democrips have been sustaining and pushing abortion upon America for lo these many decades now. They are evil, evil in the way M Scott Peck defined evil in ‘People Of The Lie’. Charles Schumer is a devil in flesh; Diane Feinstein is a succubus.
They don’t care about helpless terror victims. They only care about themselves and lording over others. They are evil.
These are naive people looking for a fix or solution to their problems. The idea that you should lock unstable people up into a facility? No....that would be a terrible thing. The fact that we are around 300k Americans who are absolutely unstable...doesn’t bother these solution-seekers. So they settle upon guns as the only solution to the issue.
Political folks will use this as much as possible to garner more support for their agenda, but it’s mostly all talk.
