And the Supreme Court has rulled it is an "individual right". And remember that the "Rights" of the Constitution were granted by God, not Government. Hence Government cannot take them away.

And no Executive Order overrules the Constitution. And Not act of Congress supercedes the Constitution except another "Amendment".

And you doofasses can forget congress repealing the 2nd Amendment. Ever.....

Actually, the Walmarts in my neck of the woods do sell military style black rifles (what Chucky calls an assault weapon). Until recently, they had offerings from Colt, DPMS, Windam Weaponry, Bushmaster and Sig in stock.

You want to know why an assault weapons ban won’t pass? Just look at that fact: they sell them at Walmart. These are not exotic weapons any longer. They are completely mainstream.

I think I remember that way back when, WallMart didn't sell them. I think you are right that the ban and having leftists want to ban them all the time, plus movies, has made them a must have rifle. So much so that there are a lot more owners now than back during the first ban.

Interesting what Smeagol's letter is saying between the lines - that the District of Criminals crowd is aware of the massive arms buildup and it's freaking them out, that what he is proposing is a ploy to get someone to fold so that they can be held up as a business who is 'in solidarity' with their agenda, with a side benefit of teeing off the customer base thus creating a negative divisiveness between gun enthusiasts and any stores who comply with this 'plea'. Sure, let's temporarily suspend sales of legal products, as well as temporarily suspending "gun-free" free-range killing zones, such as at schools, and for that matter all other unconstitutional gun laws, while the matter is being debated. Sound good? We temporarily give up something we don't want to give up, and you give up something you don't want to give up. It's a compromise, right? Compromise, meaning, both sides make concessions.
