I don’t think he can stop the manufacturer of AR-15s, etc. He could also withhold federal funding to those states currently allowing magazine sizes greater than 10 rounds.

Withhold federal funding for what? About the only good that came out of the SCOTUS Obamacare ruling is that there must be a nexus between the federal funds withheld and the reason for withholding the funds.

How do you think the Federal Government has infested our local schools so pervasively? It was done by ‘guidelines,’ then rules, and finally regulations tacked on to monies ‘given’ to each district. If you don’t give your students meals, or tell us which student’s parents work for the government, or use this textbook criteria, we won’t give you these additional funds.

This permeates EVERY state’s budgets. DOTs (that got the 55MPH back when, remember?) That’s what got us ‘smog’ inspections, and on and on and on and on.

Dangle the ‘free’ money, tack on some requirement - voila, backdoor registration, confiscation....

Good point, well taken.

Then I recommend ol’ Blue Lips withhold BATF enforcement funding and close BATF offices in any state that allows evil guns and magazines within its borders.
