...This is not a CCDL sponsored event, but we encourage as many people as possible to take part in one or the other. We would like to thank those CCDL members who stepped up and on their own got the permits and permissions needed for this.
Remember, follow all state and local laws. Firearms are allowed on the Capitol grounds, but are not allowed inside the building. Firearms are not permitted in Bushnell Park, which runs right up to the Capitol. Guns should remain holstered at all times. Capitol police will be on scene. Remember you are representing all gun owners, please be respectful of the police, the Capitol grounds, and each other. There will most likely be counter-protesters there, do not allow them to goad you.

Found the picture of you holding the sign, picture number 24. Looks like that it was over 2,000 who showed up.
2000 would be a good objective estimate, largest crowd of “bitter clingers” I’ve ever seen there. The Obama Media will probably report 200.
Would have gone, but if it was not for my knee issues. By the looks of things, this fight is not over and has just begun, so I may end up meeting you and other FRpers one way or another and in a special way, in the springtime.
My dad went to the hospital on Thursday in NJ so I never made it. Good to see so many there. Unless there’s an absolute emergency, I plan to be at the statehouse for the public hearings.
