Two names to think about

Steve Schmidt
Nicole Wallace

Where are these two wonder-twins?

Steve whores for MSNBC
Nicole whores for various think tanks

Both are black balled from the biz for running a crappy campaign and spilling their guts to HBO.

God Bless you Lloyd for a perfect summary of Sarah Palin, and the situation. You deserve major kudos for this.

I have lived in Alaska for over 20 years, most of it in the Wasilla area, and those that arose as a popular choice were infiltrated by the FBI and derailed. Joe Miller had the same person an FBI agent masquerading as his bodyguard and creating a negative image which contributed to Joe Miller losing to Murkowski, the same agent that infiltrated a Fairbanks militia and coerced them into suggested threats against judges and state Troopers, effectively killing that militia group.

Sarah Palin had undermining operatives in her group as well.
They continuously found ways to make her appear as an idiot, a piece of white trash.

But we know what to look for now, we have a figurative UV eyeball on new people, they glow and stand out in a crowd.

We see you now.

Count me as one of the few. I think she's exactly what this Country needs and was disgusted by how she was treated by liberals and the media but that paled in comparison to the disgust I feel by ‘conservatives’ who bash her.

Pat Caddell had a brilliant speech a few moths ago at the Accuracy In Media Conference about the MSM and the DC consultants.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brDZJA8j-8c

He speaks about people such as Steve Schmidt (McCain’s 2008 campaign manager) who are more concerned of their DC media connections than serving their client’s best interests.

In 2008, after Palin’s knock out speech at the RNC convention, Palin was walked into two ambush interviews (Couric/Gibson). Why? Because Schmidt wanted to keep his buddy-buddy relationships with the DC press circuit.

(starting at the 16:30 mark)

Post 2008, Schmidt (and his side-kick Wallace) engaged in a post election smear campaign on Palin by whispering falsehoods for HBO’s “Game Change”. HBO took unnamed negative sources rather than those who spoke openly (and positively) about Palin.

It is the Republican Party’s and the country’s loss. - The libs and “progressive commies” just spoke the name “Sarah Palin”; then snorted, so all the good little “progressives” just nodded and fell into line. - They did that to Reagan, too, to some extent. He just IGNORED them and fed them big old bowls of “KISS MY GRITS”, and kept on walking in those big old cowboy boots. Now, history defines him, and these same libs are just WHO DATS? and history also defines them. Just as “Katie” Couric will be defined by history as a nasty little snot who brown nosed Hussein Obama, who will, as was other wannabe dictators, be defined by history long after he and his worshippers are tossed on the “Ash Heap of History”.

That’s what really told the tale, the Tucson mass-murder. Within a couple of hours, the newsmedia, in one of the most truly evil and incendiary actions I’ve ever seen, was running a constantly repeating file of video footage... Gabby Giffords, blood on a parking-lot pavement, the photo of the little girl who was murdered, and file-footage of Sarah Palin walking to a podium at a tea-party event. For DAYS. Non-stop.

That juxtaposition of footage, over and over again... tying everything together... just like old Soviet filmmaking techniques. Sheer propaganda. True evil.

And this was right after Palin’s big success in helping with the mid-term elections, contributing mightily to the GOP winning the house, away from Pelosi. The GOP, while all this was going on? Silent. One of the most vile, outlandish media attacks in my entire lifetime. Probably even the worst. It reportedly led to Palin and her family members receiving over 100,000 death threats. All because of the media.

You ask about GOP leaders that came to her defense? Almost all you could hear were crickets chirping. It was pathetic. One exception, however, was (of all people) Rudy Guilliani. Even though from a political standpoint he’s way too liberal for me, I have to hand it to him for be one of the only ones to unequivocally stand up for Palin during that matter.

Sarah Palin - lovely Sarah Palin - was targeted by Alinsky-folks, demonized, and destroyed.

Destroyed? Destroyed people don’t get all this attention, help conservatives get elected, and whose name is still on our lips. The conservative candidates still clamor for her time. The only thing getting destroyed is my respect for the GOP. Palin, like Batman, “exposed the true colors of Gotham’s scum”!!! For that, I’m thankful to her.

It looks like Sarah Palin has somewhat withdrawn from political sparring... much to the delight of the GOP power brokers, strategists, and hacktivists.

Don't assume Sarah Palin's inactivity at the moment means that she has withdrawn from anything. Her enemy(and mine) is the GOP-E so why should she come riding in on a rescue attempt of their feckless leadership? Timing is everything.

It really started with Dan Quayle.

Don't forget Lawrence Eagleburger.

Thanks SeekAndFind.
We conservatives act as if our representatives must be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ -- perfect in every way. At a conservative's slightest misstep, Republicans/conservatives trip over one another backing away from the individual in an effort to get out of the media's and Democrats' line of fire. Clearly, advocates of conservatism are expected by both parties to walk on water.
A reprise from January 17, 2008:
[quote] The purists, who will stay at home because our candidate couldn't walk on water without getting the soles of his Teva's wet will have gifted us with another Clintoon pillaging. [end quote] -- Thanks Grampa Dave (and check out the tagline there).

Wasn’t Schmidt a disciple of Rove?

The elitist republicans are the ones that are hurting the party. If Palin were to run, Rove and his ilk would attack her and her family. I could be wrong but I think Palin is moving on with her life. I don’t think she will enter the political arena again.

Yes, I didn’t mean she is destroyed; wrong word. I was thinking specifically of the Presidential election and how she was treated so brutally. They have not kept her down, nor will they. But it was truly brutal.

Hope you are right. It is kind of painful watching the “feckless leadership” waiting for orders on how much they need to bend over.

Sarah has never left the political arena. She is quite engaged, in fact.

IMO, Sarah is sitting back and letting the GOPe fumble and stumble and lose even more favor with the American people. They are almost begging for a competing party to step in. I’d look for her to become more involved once Obama lays out his agenda at the State of the Nation speech.
