Ben Affleck has been off the radar for a while, coming out of his married-with-kidslife only for bigger films (and maybe to cheat!). We all thought he was taking time off to prepare for his political career, but he’s reportedly nixed it amidst fear of all his scandals which would be stirred up in the campaign process! The father of three has a dark past, which he isn’t eager to put back on the radar!
An insider reported his decision to National Enquirer, print edition January 21, 2013. “The real reason he’s decided not to run for US Senate” is because he fears his own dirty laundry! Though he had support to run for John Kerry’s Massachusetts senate seat—Kerry has just been appointed Secretary of State by President Obama—he is terrified to remind the world about his bad boy history!
“Ben’s worried his bad boy past and wild lifestyle will be dredged up,” the source explained. It’s not like he made one moderately bad mistake—Ben’s scandals could fill text books! His public records include “alcohol abuse that forced him into rehab, illegal underground poker games, and a highly publicized drug, booze, and sex orgy with strippers!” The smear ads just write themselves!
While his kids are young, Ben is said to be keeping on the straight and narrow, setting a good example for them while cleaning up his image. But once he’s put a few more years between him and his past, he hopes to enter public office. The source claims he will “shelve his deep passion for politics to shield his children from seeing Daddy dragged through the mud bath—until they’re older.” Would you vote for or support another Hollywood candidate, or should Ben stick to acting? Is he just using his kids as an excuse to quit while he’s ahead?
While he’s at it he should retire from “Acting.”

Here in Hollywood, I’ve heard for the past 6 years in various circles that this clown and Damon did not write Good Will Hunting but hired a ghost writer. One of the screenwriters for a movie nominated for an Oscar x years ago blatantly told us “those 2 wrote GWH? Then I wrote Casablanca”.
Being a MA man-whore with plenty of evidence of debauchery and low morals should make him a shoo-in.
And even though he lives in California shouldn't stop the geniuses from MA from electing him.
Imagine Massachusetts voters electing someone that actually lives there. Outrageous.

I am tired and recovering from a throat thing—but I think he should stick to what he knows, acting and directing. Getting a little sick of Hollywood celebrities weighing on political issues.
Someone once posted a comparison of people like Condi, GW, and any other politicians, elected officials and other public figures who are not in the entertainment world, regarding their education, as compared to Hollywood stars. Pathetic—the difference was amazing.

You work in Hollywood? That place gives “Shark Tank” an all new meaning. :) And I say that as a person who took screenwriting classes here in Canada. It is a vicious business. Not that I got anywhere with that, with two young children at the time. :)
