Obama to take private oath in brief family service
President Barack Obama's private swearing-in will be a brief, sparsely attended ceremony in the Blue Room of the White House.
White House spokesman Jay Carney says Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts will administer the oath of office on Sunday just before noon, the time required by the Constitution. Obama's family will attend along with a few reporters, and Obama isn't expected to make a speech.

Obama isn’t expected to make a speech.
The only good news for today.
I knew it. He wants a bibleless swearing in. He makes a big deal about the Bible he uses. Last time it was Lincoln’s, this time it’s Lincoln’s and Martin Luther da King. Last time, he had a private bibleless swearing in. Same this time.
THIS JUST IN As is customary, before the inaug, the Obamas, and selected Democrats, will worship together at “The Church of Whatever Works For Me.”
A special ceremony is to take place——with Democrats kneeling before the DNC logo-—and giving thanks that Romney was so stupid and easily duped.....a dumbo RINO who was used to having his lunch money taken by the schoolyard bully.
A breakfast of tacos and tequila will commence, then David Axelrod will do the Mexican Hat Dance on the Capitol steps attired in his serape and matching sombrero.
So...that allows the pretender to wear the Mussolini outfit with tiara and heels. Will the CJ be wearing the full ‘Tootsie’ beneath his robes?
Followed by the ceremonial lighting of the Bill of Rights. This year Rosa DeLauro has the honor of striking the match.
On July 25th, 1787, John Jay wrote to George Washington, then Presiding Officer of the Constitutional Convention:
"Permit me to hint, whether it would be wise and seasonable
to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government;
and to declare expressly that the Commander in Chief of the American Army
shall not be given to nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen.
The Convention agreed and without debate the provision suggested by Jay was written into the Constitution.
Today is the official one that counts. Tomorrow is for show.
That happened last time. Something was wrong and Justice Roberts had to redo it. Obama is a scam artist from word go.
Why does he need to swear an oath when he has no intention of keeping it anyway?
Swearing In A Private Affair?
Vive Il Duce !
Ceaser, do NOT go to Rome.
I wonder if Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts will hug and kiss him after he is sworn in?
meanwhile, there has not been one shred of documentation OFFICIALLY SUBMITTED TO ANY OFFICE proving citizenship, let alone natural born status.
NOT ONE DOCUMENT ... ANYWHERE
why bother following the law when they cannot follow something this simple??
He prefers it greased up before insertion...
I wonder if His Majesty is using Jefferson’s copy of the Koran?
And he’ll swear to uphold the Constitution of The United States. What a complete farce......and the Liar in Chief is given another four years by the most illiterate voters in American history.
“Do you swear to preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States?”
“Olly Olly Oxen Free”
Today is official self crowning of the all mighty one and tomorrow is the prideful waste of tax dollars. I His Royal Hiney really wants to show that he's pro debt reduction, he'd call off all the glittery hoopla. Of course he won't because he loves the cameras and Moochelle needs to show off her new boob belt.
Let me see if I’ve got this right.
We have a Usurper-in-Chief who can’t be trusted, to be sworn in by a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court who can’t be trusted, witnessed by a handpicked few reporters who can’t be trusted, by taking the oath of office in private so the public can’t watch.
No problems here that I can see. None at all. /s
So why is this “private”? Don’t these fools have cameras?????
