How Obama's Gun 'Order' will Backfire
WND ^ | January 17, 2013 | David Kupelian

Posted on 01/20/2013 11:40:25 AM PST by paratrooper82

Among the 23 “executive actions” President Obama announced yesterday amidst great fanfare (and shameless exploitation of children) is this:

“Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.”

Obama may want to put a hold on that one, until he comes to grips with what happened the last time a U.S. president tried it.

One of the convo themes, frequently heard at our rally, was something like: *my husband/wife would be here, but s/he had to work.* Which is wonderful...no one else is going to put food on the table; and there is a certain gratefulness that one even has a job.

I’m sure that will be times in the not to distant future that you will find a way to have your voice heard in your state. Bless you and be safe!

Lovely! Good reason to be proud.

It must be b/c of your unconditional love and patience. Good job mom!

Sometimes when I post it gets hung for a long time so I have to click the button again. I see double or triple posting here and just figure it happened to them. I don’t think that makes one an idiot.

No, you're not an idiot. Most of the folks on this forum that call others idiots usually need to look into the mirror.

I'll tell you works here though. Rusty, when it looks like it is hung up, it is not. It has posted, just not finalized. For each time, 1 or 100, that you hit the post button it is going to duplicate. Just close the window after a couple of minutes. Go back to the thread and you will see your post. Works every time.

Happens to me every time I ping one of my lists even when I don’t get hung up and try again. Just one click, and voila! Two or three dupes.

All of the lists that I am on have been tripling for some time. You can bet that John is working on it.

Thank you.

I hope his inbox fills up with emails.

I plan to call his office tomorrow and if I can remember how I will send a snail mail as well.

They DO say snail mail is the most effective.

I’d recommend using a computer, cuz you’ve probably forgot your penmanship as we all have.

And yes. I WILL be doing my part.

Where does one purchase one of those little square things with a picture on it that go on the corner of the envelope?

The dupes don’t bother me, I get tons of ‘em from ping lists I’m on. It’s no biggie and I”m sure it’s being worked on. There are plenty of real bad things to get upset about.

You get a long bendable thingy.
Chew 5 pieces of gum at once. A huge wad.
Take out of mouth and put on end of long bendable thingy.

Late at night find a big blue box with a door thing that opens.
Stick long bendable thingy with gum on end inside the door and smoosh it down hard.

Pull long bendable thingy out Very Carefully and you should have an envelope attached to wad of gum.

Eureka! A square thing with a picture on it!

*disclaimer for nerds who don’t get it...THIS IS A JOKE!*

Thanks I’ll try that next time. I know I’m not an idiot, I was just sticking up for someone else on this forum. It just seems to me that priorities vary vastly for some.

Sounds like kind of a weird plan but I'll give it a try and post the results tomorrow. Maybe my wife will help.
