The big issue is how to become the majority again. Your ravings seem to indicate apathy and stupidity as the culprits. This may be true but it is not a solution. The exit polls in 88 and 12 tell a remarkable story. They are the same.
Calling people stupid is not the answer. Broadening the base with outreach is. It takes work, time, and tolerance. The more you try to drive people away because they are not pure well......

But suppose the senate accepts that "dream act" compromise? My view is that the voting part would appear later, perhaps via an EO, perhaps via a new bill. So the real result could be that we are one step closer to a leftist super majority of voters.
Dream acts, guest worker programs, we know what happens eventually. They couple with somebody here or bring somebody illegally and have a baby here, or just wait for immigration policy to change.
That would not happen if, as you argue, Dems will not accept the no-path-to-citizenship poison pill. But if they realize that eating the poison pill will result in citizenship eventually (because new laws supersede old ones), that would be a victory for them.
The value of the no-path-to-citizenship amendment would not be that it prevents those amnestied from voting forever if the bill passed (look at how well the govt. kept its promise to "secure the border" in the Reagan amnesty), but rather, as in your plan, it provokes Dems and RINOs to vote against it and eliminate the bill with extreme prejudice. Maybe they should add a few other poison pills just to make sure.

Dems have already made it clear that immigration reform must have path to citizenship, they use those specific words every time they reference it (like Reid just did) and as I said the unions demand it. And :
