I'd rather see the GOP leadership engage in a honest discussion why so many conservative voters sat this election out rather than buy into the Colon Powell demographics bit.

But I'm not gonna hold my breath...

Gov Jindal identifies a core Republican problem: they are overwhelmingly white in a country that is becoming more of a melting pot day by day.

In answer to the headline's question, Bobby, YES, the Republican Party is the STUPID party and will remain so because of guys like you. Freedom, liberty, the right to self-determination, wholly transcend race, always have, and always will. It's why Tea Party rallies have folks of so many colors and ages. But craven pinheads like YOU, Bobby, can think only in terms of voter blocks defined by pandering to races.

Yes, the Republican party is the "Stupid" Party and is now a waste of time. As you, Bobby, even now so amply illustrate.

I read the article and saw the writer put words that seemed to originate from Governor Jindal but on closer inspection were not actual quotes.

Given the source I would suspect a heavy liberal slant on this crap piece of writing.

I call the GOP the stupid party for the simple reason that they can’t last one round in the ring with the corrupt leftwing democrats. It’s really the GOPe that is the ‘Party of Stupids’.

And the biggest aggravation is when conservative and united movements across the country such as the Tea Party phenomenon come to the rescue, then the GOPe backslaps and disparages them.

The GOPe must be removed at all costs else the Tea Party must be established as a Third Party leaving the GOPe as the whigged out stupid loons that they are.

Just as soon as the GOPe is removed, sidelined, marginalized, eviscerated or abolished, the Tea Party will take the country back based on a theme of limited government and states rights. Just as in 2010 the leftwing and their RINO toys won’t know what hit them.

Thank you for your comments. You are correct. I didn't read the article with the same suspect, deep, analytical approach you did, which is how I should have done it. Seeing that it is the BBC it is a mistake I won't make again.

The Louisiana governor, a likely contender for his party's presidential nomination in 2016

He is not a natural born citizen of the United States. He is a natural born citizen of India. You can't be both.

...they are overwhelmingly white in a country that is becoming more of a melting pot day by day.

It is a problem because the US State Department in collaboration with Democrat Administration officials, AND those 'compassionate conservative' politicians have allowed out legal immigration system to become a racial profiling JOKE. African (Nigerian, Ugandan, South African, Haitian, Jamaican, you name it, along with any Muslim country you can name) gets you that golden (green) ticket to applying for every public benefit one can get (It did not used to be that way). Couple that with the millions of illegals here and coming every year (you believe it's only 12 million? I got a bridge here I'd like to talk to you about....)...and you have "the Republicans' problem"....Screw Jindal.

Stupid shouldn’t be left out of the description but I’d say traitorous best sums up the GOP.

Jindal is adopting the same Democidal talking points as the Dem-ocidal party: Get rid of all the d@mn white people, and the USA would be just a fine place to live.

Jindal is part of the problem.

1. He is not a natural born citizen and is not eligible to be President. Just because the Dems cheat, lie, and steal is no reason why the GOP should. (But, regretably, it does, and has for the past 50 years and more, with few exceptions.)

2. He wants to pose as a “conservative” while moving the party further to the left and bringing in millions of illegals who will predictably show their thanks by voting Democrat.

No, thanks. Do not mistake this guy for a conservative.

...said a number of Republicans had "damaged the brand" by making "offensive and bizarre" comments.

Democrats say stupid things too... lots of stupid hateful things - BUT the MSM doesn't report them.

Robert Byrd a Democrat Senator from 1959 to 2010. He was the longest-serving senator in the history of Congress. AND in all that time the MSM 'missed' that he had been a member of the KKK. Anyone think the MSM would have 'missed' it if it had been Bush? It's not us - it's what the MSM reports. Trump needs to buy the New York Times - or set up a competing paper - and ONLY cover dems willing to trash other dems.

Turn about's fair play...
