The coming collapse of the abortion lobby
Fox News ^ | January 25, 2013 | Dr. Charmaine Yoest

Forty years after Roe v. Wade, a powerful shift is taking place within Big Abortion. What abortion advocates could not win through choice, they intend to impose through coercion.

Even Time magazine recently acknowledged on their cover that, for those so inclined to celebrate Roe’s anniversary, the rejoicing over abortion on demand should be tinged with concern.  On January 14th Time asked “What Choice?” and then answered their own question:  “40 years ago, abortion rights activists won an epic victory with Roe v. Wade,” the cover noted and then concluded: “They’ve been losing ever since.”

When viewed through the lens of policy, instead of private decisions “choice” encompasses individual liberty and a freedom to dissent.   “Privacy” has long since vanished in the context of abortion policy:  the abortion statists believe the procedure should permeate the public sphere.

We won’t see much of anything happen at the national level in the next several years, but there is a rising tide of pro-life legislation passing at the state level that is dramatically changing the contours of abortion policy in this country. The storm surge is coming.

They want abortion defined as fundamental health care for women...and they want every American to pay for it. They do not believe an individual should have a choice whether to participate in abortion. They plan to force every American, regardless of their personal beliefs and values, to participate in abortion as part of the everyday fabric of our culture through tax subsidies and occupational mandates.

And in response, what do we see in the pro-life, legal community?  The number one piece of model legislation requested from our legal team is the one that assists in defunding the abortion industry.  Following closely after is the model that reinforces Rights of Conscience.

Pro-life has won numerous battles. There are fewer and fewer abortion clinics open.

And let’s keep in mind how Planned Infanticide strong-armed the Komen foundation into maintaining ties with them...even though there is strong enough link between abortion and breast cancer that anyone at the Komen foundation should have been willing to suspend all interactions with abortuariums that may be causing the disease they are trying to eradicate.

SF Bay Area: saw two pro-life groups of people on their way to SF to join a rally. I gave words of encouragement to both.

The reality is just as bad as you say it is, and worse. Not only 55,000,000 babies smashed to a bloody pulp, but now Obama wasn't it covered und erinsurance in every state.

However, there are also reasons for hope. As Charmaine Yeost says, the Abortion Power is huge and cruel --- but brittle.

Hey, it doesn't matter whether we make abortion illegal, as long as we can make it unthinkable. It's happening. Over 85% of American counties don't have even one abortion provider. The number of abortionists is dropping (from about 3,000 in 1982, to under 850 in 2012) and their median age is approaching 60.

Thirty years ago there were just a few hundred Pregnancy Services (prolife) centers, and now there are 4200. And 400,000 marched against abortion last week in DC, a big majority of under the age of 30.

"Pro-choice" is a graying, ageing breed. NARAL dropped the divisive word "Abortion" from their name years ago, and now they don't even want to use the word "choice", since they don't care to say what they're choosing. Hmm. Wonder why.

And that Obamacare aboirtion coverage? It's being blocked in state affter state.

And we will win. You know why? Because the smallest living thing, is more powerful than the most powerful dying thing. We're with Life. We're with Nature. And with Nature's God: the One who is the Lord and Giver of Life.
