In an explosive exchange outside the U.S. Conference of Mayors meeting in Washington, D.C., security guards for billionaire New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg accosted senior Talk Radio Network investigative reporter Jason Mattera when he asked the mayor about his strong support for gun control.
In the video, Bloomberg is seen surrounded by security. Mattera approaches Bloomberg and asks, “In the spirit of gun control, will you disarm your entire security team?”
Bloomberg’s reply: “Uh, you, we’ll get right back to you.”
“Why can you defend yourself but not the majority of Americans?” Mattera asks as the mayor walks away. “Look at the team of security you’ve got. And you’re an advocate for gun control?”
The video then cuts to Mattera walking further down the street when one of the men guarding Bloomberg, identified as Officer Stockton NYPD, stops Mattera and asks to see his photo ID.
Mattera complies before asking, “Is this standard procedure for the press? Wait, wait, wait, it’s standard procedure to be questioning members of the press?

I’m honestly wondering if Bloomberg is insane-made insane by his drunkeness with power. I really wonder if he has clinical, certifiably insane megalomania.

Those mean ugly big MF’in guys circled the mayor to protect him from this evil journalist. Guess which was armed? The mayor benefits from armed protection, and he wants normal people to be at the mercy of armed violent criminals.
He was pretty aggressive about his actions and they did their job not allowing him to pierce that protective veil.
I applaud him but, he pit himself in that position knowing full well what the consequences could be.

Bloomberg is a coward, and those thugs who followed and pestered the reporter are inexcusable.
Still they laid their filthy hands on him. He at no time showed anything other than asking a series of questions to which we would all love to hear answers.

Which perfectly illustrates the point. Bloomberg has a team of armed and effective security agents at all times while the average citizen has nothing but themselves and whatever weapon they can bring to bear on their own. Bloomberg would like to make that their bare hands.
If the reporter was not a threat in anyway...Bloombergs SS men comitted assault by touching him. The reporter should press criminal charges and civil action. He should have never offered to ID himself...NYPD are out of their jurisdiction
Reporters get in people’s faces all the time. I don’t recall seeing the MSM being manhandled by security surrounding someone like Romney or Boehner. If that happened, it would be on the news 24/7.
Having been to quite a few Hollywood VIP parties and political fundraising and a variety of other events I’ve seen happen.
Besides our disagreement with Booberg, what exactly is your gripe?
This whole thing demonstrates the hypocrisy of calling for Americans to disarm while being armed themselves and/or hiring private citizens who are armed to protect him.
