The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
I was born here dumbass. Want to see my birth certificate?
Did he happen to mention where he came from?
Nobody "brought them" The illegals snuck in.

No, peabrain, I was born here. Where the hell are you from?
What a moron

Potage du jour
Note “somebody brought you” and “someone made it happen” (the latter was part of “you didn’t built that”.)
What does it mean? It means that unlike me, a self-made man, you’re nobody, somebody else made ya!

*Every* American born here is a native American. My original immigrant ancestors were from Europe. Me, I was born here.
If you believe the (Biblical) tale of Adam and Eve being created in the Garden of Eden between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, we probably come from Iraq.
Some of my kin has been here 400 years.
If family tradition and a common sense read on known history is to be believed, some of them have been here a whole lot longer than that. At least a thousand years longer.
Which has absolutely nothing to do with the price of tea in China. Or with the existence of a birth certificate in Mombassa.
Or whether the United States of America is still a nation with defined borders and the rule of law.
