A spokesman for House Speaker John A. Boehner warned President Obama Tuesday not to derail bipartisan efforts to overhaul immigration laws by pushing more liberal proposals than those under consideration in Congress.

“There are a lot of ideas about how best to fix our broken immigration system,” spokesman Brendan Buck said in a statement, responding to Obama’s Las Vegas speech on immigration. “Any solution should be a bipartisan one, and we hope the President is careful not to drag the debate to the left and ultimately disrupt the difficult work that is ahead in the House and Senate.”

I thought the end of year tax fight was stupid and I figured they would lose another debt extension standoff, both deadline driven events.

But this is different. There is no hard deadline in passing amnesty except rushing it through before opposition can take hold.

What you are seeing with Bohner’s comment above and the Rubio comments on Obama’s plan is a deceptive scam to fool Republicans into thinking that they are opposing O while passing his plan.

In fact tonight over on the Dem channel ‘The Last Word’ they were joking about how they (Rubio, McCain, Bohner) have to play this ‘Obama’s plan is unacceptable’ act when the two plans are basically the same, to fool stupid Republicans into not opposing it.
As if Obama would veto a ‘path to voting’ bill that reaches his desk.

If they give illegals the right to vote, even if delayed by a few years in the Rub bill, it is over,
Deficits, taxes, mandates,.... etc fights will be pointless.

Rubio on Rush today (Tues) said that they will open businesses and ‘understand the cost of government.’

This is very deceptive sweet sounding talk and how they are waging this fight: to convince us that illegals are natural (business owners) conservatives and that they (Rubio, McCain, Bohner) are fighting O on this.

There’s certainly no doubt that most of the nation’s illegal aliens come from socialist countries and would vote for more of the same. However, I wonder how many would even apply for citizenship. Do they even want to be Americans? I don’t know. It seems like many don’t want to adopt our culture or language, preferring instead to bring their countries here.

Businesses like the cheap labor. How large is our undocumented economy? Are these folks going to pay far more for legal employees? I don’t know. There’s a reason why companies hire illegals and pay them off the books—it’s profitable and undercuts legal competition.

Then you have this secure border nonsense. I read Senator Rubio wants a commission that includes representatives from border states to first certify the border is secure before we get an amnesty. Who will sit on this commission? Will it be composed of equal numbers of Democrats and Republicans? We know where THAT would lead, as the RINOs would join the Dems to certify the border in short order.

There’s no will to enforce current law. We would be fools to believe government will suddenly start enforcing a slew of new laws. They don’t want to round up illegal aliens now. What will they do when millions more sneak in (in spite of the “certified secure” border) after this amnesty. Again, we’d be utter fools to believe them this time. It’s been done before! We KNOW how it turns out.

This document from the British National Archives Show Son Born To Obama Sr. in 1961 In Kenya


shows a birth date of Aug 4, 1961, the exact date of genuine birth certificate with Obama's right foot print on it.

This IS the very document that links the ILLEGAL ALIEN IN CHIEF to his birth certificate.

Let me say again: Think about this.

"On August 4, 1961 Obama's mother, father and grandmother were attending a Muslim festival in Mombasa , Kenya .

Mother had been refused entry to airplanes due to her nine month pregnancy.
It was a hot August day at the festival so the Obamas went to the beach to cool off.
While swimming in the ocean his mother experienced labor pains so was rushed to the Coast Provincial General Hospital, Mombasa, Kenya where Obama was born a few hours later at 7:21 pm on August 4, 1961(what a sad day for the USA!).
Four days later his mother flew to Hawaii and registered his birth in Honolulu as a certificate of live birth which omitted the place and hospital of birth."

Here's something to ponder.

I think it more likely that the trip from Kenya actually occurred in August 1961, shortly after BHO-II's birth at the Coast Province General Hospital in Mombasa.
Ann and her newborn son flew from Nairobi to London, via BOAC Flight BA162 and then took the non-stop BOAC flight from London to Vancouver, Canada.
She then traveled the 110 miles or so, across the border, to Seattle in time to start Fall Semester, night-school extension classes at the University of Washington.
The trip would be challenging for a new mother, but she was young, healthy, intelligent, and capable.
BOAC was very accomodating to mothers with young children back in the 1960s. No real problem!

make e-verify mandatory to end employer abuse of slave-wage, illegal immigration. i.e., why not remove the reason illegals come to America? unless of course you actually want them to come.

end the unconstitutional practice of allowing chain migration “citizenship” for the children of illegal immigrant parents. unless you think that anyone in the world has the authority to grant *themselves* citizenship in America through their children?

secure our borders by fully funding and enforcing *existing* immigration law as required of the federal government by the law of the land, The Constitution. unless you couldn’t careless about enforcing the Constitution. but then why would any politician not want to uphold their oath of office?

if you’re really serious about solving the immigration problem, one wonders why you don’t just implement this low hanging fruit. conversely, if you won’t even argue for these three preconditions before making a massive, costly, “comprehensive” effort which doesn’t include these simple things, then i submit that whether republican or democrat, you prove yourself to be an untrustworthy politician pandering for votes at the cost of an existential threat to our nation.

I do know.
Here in Maryland we have been invaded by legal immigrants Koreans the past 10 or so years and they vote Dem, and their kids part of the cool Obama culture vote Dem. Dems recently passed about 7 tax increases here with zero opposition: sales tax, income tax, alcohol and tobacco taxes, gasoline taxes next

Many illegals were brought here as kids and graduate from HS here which is why the ‘pass nothing’ wing of the R party will lose this fight. They will always be see as victims so the Rubio-Obama side will give them the vote, for Dem of course .

I see nothing that shows me that we will do anything but lose from them voting. Sure GWB won some of their votes in 2004, but look at the massive give-away it took (tax cuts plus huge increases in spending) and he still benefited from 9/11, and by 2006 that party was over.
