The recently released photograph of President Obama reportedly “Taken at Camp David – the Maryland presidential retreat – on August 4, 2012, his 51st birthday,” is a complete fake.
As a lifelong shotgunner, I immediately smelled a rat. Nothing in the photo looks right and upon closer examination, it is a complete fraud.
One need go no further than examining the ports on the shotgun. ... One will immediately notice that there is smoke coming from the right side of the gun in the photo as well as out the front. The only problem is that there is no smoke coming from the ports on the left side of the gun, clearly seen in the photo suggesting that the smoke was doctored into the photo. ...
To add insult to injury, the smoke pictured is not clearly defined and appears to be moved by wind. At this stage in the firing process, this phenomenon would be nearly impossible. The smoke should look like it is being rapidly forced out small holes instead of something wafting from a chimney....
One need go no further than the port evidence to prove fraud, but further evidence shows that the President was not shooting “Skeet.” ... If he were shooting skeet, there would be a skeet house over the shooter’ shoulder from this camera angle. There is none. Additionally, his barrel is almost horizontal and that would not be consistent with someone shooting skeet. At a minimum, it would be elevated at around a forty-five degree angle to almost vertical. ...
Further evidence would suggest that the smoke in the photo is somewhat heavy and is more consistent with the kind of smoke coming from a blackpowder gun, not a modern shotgun. ...

I posted before on another thread. We are a Hollywood post-production company and our graphics department and special effects supervisors both agreed it’s a simple Photoshop, with Indesign added for more effect.
Nothing that comes out of Washington is the truth. It is time to change that.

If this guy showed up at my club with a gun like that, one extended choke one inserted choke, no vest or pouch, stood at station 1 in that stance, held and mounted the gun like that and shot at that angle, he would be taken aside by another member and given a cram course on shooting or asked to leave until he took a lesson.

There is clear motion blur at the muzzle, upward and to the rear at a ~45 degree angle. At the rear (see trigger guard) the blur is largely rearward.
The author may not realize that some bird guns and loads are quite lightly recoiling.

Which means he was shooting even lower than it appears in the photo.
Shooting rabbits or groundhog maybe. If it was skeet he must have been shooting them before they were launched... which does seem like something he’d do.
When I first saw the picture of Obama and the OU shotgun, I knew it was not right, so the first thing I thought was how come they had to fake it when it is easy to do the real thing, even take a flight to C D and shoot a real skeet, so what is going on here? they must have known there would be scrutinazing by experts, so is this just a way of taking the spotlight of something els like the emigrant/same sex mariage act? wouldent be surprized at all.

The screw in choke in the top barrel looks to be a yellow or brass color which would be improved cylinder. This is a choke that is ok for shooting skeet, but most people shooting a lot of skeet use screw in skeet choke tubes in both barrels.
It appears the bottom barrel has no choke tube screwed into it, which would make for a cylinder choke (no choke) again this is ok for shooting skeet, but not the choke most people use. Yes they do make cylinder screw in choke tubes.
With with threads exposed in the lower barrel it will eventually fill in the space between the threads with plastic and lead. No way you can screw in a choke tube until this is removed. There is no way that any one that shoots a lot would keep shooting without a choke tube screwed into the bottom barrel.
Shooting with sun glasses on a cloudy day? Only a rank amateur would do something dumb like that.
Why no shell pouch or vest to hold extra shot shells in the photo?
Smoke looks like it is floating away from the right side ports in the top barrel, yet you can plainly see the ports on the left side of the barrel.
Even with light target loads the small amount of smoke that comes out of ported barrels blasts out of them. The smoke coming out the right side ports look phony.
When loading an O/U almost all shooters who shoot a lot load the bottom barrel if they are only firing one shot. It cuts down on recoil.
It is a poorly staged photo op as well as photo cropped.
I have no idea if this is a phony nphoto or not. It does look like the upper barrel has a top (vertical) port. As for the apparent lack of recoil, someone had earlier posted that this was a 28-gauge shotgun; thus, the recoil would not be that significant. What DOES bother me about this photo is that the idiot is supposed to be shooting target clays, and is shooting FLAT! Thus, he appears to be shooting at the skeet launch, and not at the clay. ObaMao has terrible gun discipline, and should not be allowed anywhere near a firearm. The man is dangerous on so many levels.
