Amid a national debate about preventing the mentally ill from owning firearms, one state has a potentially potent weapon -- in California, officials are allowed to confiscate guns from convicted felons and those with a history of mental illness.

“California, officials are allowed to confiscate guns from convicted felons and those with a history of mental illness.”
That would disarm the majority of the California state legislature.
Who will determine mental illness?
Will liberals be able to claim conservatives are “mentally ill”?
Maybe we should pass a law that says somebody has to enforce the law
Well, I suppose there ARE that many government employees in California.
CA needs to change to allow law abiding citizens to protect themselves from the gang bangers if they move into their hoods.
“They are just killing other gang bangers.”
Sadly I can say that is not always the case.
Cal. AG Kamala Harris said that although she has the information of who and where the felons are, she doesn’t have the manpower to enforce the law—so she will just ignore it.
However, Kamala is big on gun control for law abiding citizens. (spit)
‘Cuz they can’t aim. I have about zero sympathy for those neighborhoods. They are liberals and Obama’s people. They expect that we (taxpayers) take care of their problems. I didn’t cause their problems and they are too impotent or lack the principles to take care of their own. I am too busy fighting liberals in my own area to give a damn.

(4) Any other identifying information regarding the subject that is deemed necessary by the Attorney General.

Hmm. What's the 1/1/91 date mentioned in connection with the "Consolidated Firearms Information System"? The date it went online?
Could it be that the Feds are keeping just such a database as mentioned in "king barry's" call of executive actions to disarm America?
Could it be that the Feds are keeping just such a database as mentioned in “king barry’s” call of executive actions to disarm America?
Actually the feds accidentally admitted it when they unveiled “dear leader’s” executive action plan.
