(Newser) – Michelle Obama will attend Saturday's funeral for Hadiya Pendleton, the Chicago teen killed not long after performing at President Obama's inauguration, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Alongside Obama will be adviser Valerie Jarrett and Education Secretary Arne Duncan, also Chicagoans, reports the Tribune. No arrests have been made in the shooting, but a $40,000 reward remains. Police think the 15-year-old got shot accidentally amid a turf war between gangs.
In Chicago alone, she'd be busy 24/7. Keeping herself so busy as to stop agitating the rest of the world.
Unfortunately - this is just grandstanding on her part to push the gun-grabbing agenda.
This poor kid has been dead for over a weak now. How nice of them to keep her on ice so’s the Mobama show can roll into town.

since mooch claimed she and barry are raising their girls with “southside values”, it’s only right she shuod pay her respects to a child who experienced the results of those values
I’m actually going to give her a huge benefit of the doubt on this particular one. A heartbreaking loss....certainly one of waaaay too many.. Nonetheless, if she doesn’t go “political” and only speaks to the family, I’ll accept this gesture of consolation. Trust me, I am NO fan.
My prayers for this heartbroken family.
Especially since this young lady was a good kid with good grades and plans for a good future and wasnt a welfare queen...

To be honest, black people are just slow as **** when it comes to getting a funeral together. I know. It's just another failing of our culture.
I agree, but you notice how Barack never attends such events himself. Same with talking to the NAACP, he wanted to send his wife, but he didn’t want to go himself. I think he has some deep emotional disconnect with Black people even though he married to a Black woman. He’s probably uncomfortable around other Black people.
Parading the corpse for political gain. It’s what the National Socialist Democrat Party and muslims do so well.

EXCUSE ME? The report was that this was a gang related shooting and this girl was hanging out in the park with a bunch of gang thugs. A rival gang got off a few random shots and the girl was killed and several other gang members were wounded. Now, our first lady, (and I say that with tongue in cheek) is going to the funeral for this “poor little innocent girl”. Give me a freakin break!
