While its often best not to engage with conspiracy theorists on their own turf, as you can probably never convince them, its worth setting the record straight on all the myths and phony evidence surrounding the Sandy Hook massacre.
Weve rounded up every major piece of evidence we could find that leads theorists to say the official narrative of events doesnt add up and provided the facts that show why these questions can be easily explained. Weve ignored the empty accusations with no evidence to support them (it was the Jews!) and focused only on the theories that try to present actual empirical or circumstantial evidence.
Let us know if we missed any and well add to it as more myths emerge. In no particular order, here is your comprehensive guide to disproving the Sandy Hook Truthers:
Why arent the adults sadder? They arent behaving the way human beings would act, as conspiracy theorist Jay Weidner told fellow conspiracy theorist Jeff Rense on his radio show. Theorists have zeroed in on Robbie Parker, who they say wasnt grieving hard enough for his slain 6-year-old daughter, Emilie. In one widely circulated clip, Parker laughs before stepping up to the microphone, and apparently someone says read from the card (as in cue card) before Parker breathes heavily in anticipation of beginning a press conference. This is what actors do to get into character, one popular YouTube video states. Rense and Weidner also take issue with the mourning of the school nurse, the family of slain teacher Victoria Soto, and others. ALL ACTORS??? NO TEARS, wonders the author of SandyHookHoax.com on a page featuring videos with numerous interviews from the shooting.

Any conspiracy this big just HAS to have a Salon article debunking it - it's all part of the plan, dontcha see?
At the same time, the investigative agencies are giving the public they theoretically serve a very negligible amount of data.
If we're going to dramatically alter federal law on matters that touch constitutional issues, there should probably be an exhaustive public report of their findings.
These conspiracy theories serve to show how deeply divided we are by showing our need to blame “ them”. They also showcase some individuals need for attention / recondition, not to mention the money Alex Jones and others make from their delusions.
No it is Max Malone (whoever the hell that is) who seems to push these kinds of videos and likes to add big, scary voice overs to CNN broadcasts to influence what you are thinking.
As I said on the other thread, don’t confuse media incompetence for conspiracy.
It also shows how mistrusted and reviled the main stream media is, the media could tell us the sky is blue and most people wouldn’t believe them... and probably for good reason as they know the media has lied to them many many times...
They also really help internet forums.
Consider the source. I don’t bother with anything from Salon, even when they might be right.
They simply link and compile other sources, such as Scientific American.
I frankly don’t care where it comes from if it’s the TRUTH. It’s unsettling to me how easily swayed some folks are- on the left AND the right. Knee-jerk reactions are self-congratulatory and satisfying temporarily- but they make for weak minds and addled brains.
I don’t KNOW the facts about Sandy Hook- but I know a little bit about human nature. A conspiracy of this nature, size and scope would not be easily carried out- I’d wager it’d be damned near impossible. SOMEONE(s) is always going to talk- these are regular folks in a regular small town- the idea of a grand conspiracy to further the gun-control agenda is nuts. We know there are some who would be giddy to perpetrate such a thing- but it is NOT practical. What we normally discover, if we accept a conspiracy theory is there are just as many unanswered questions on the OTHER side.
If I’m searching for a conspiracy- nothing is easier to find. Any inconsistency will be used as more reasons why it is so.
Watch the last few minutes ... the claim is Sandy Hook is not an operational school at the time.
Which would explain the lack of children and parents in any scenes I've ever seen (no pun intended)
There are plenty of legit conspiracies out there and, I'm quite positive, all kinds of things our government does and gets involved in that would make our heads spin.
That said, people who think Sandy Hook was staged, that it was carried out in cooperation with the government so that they could seize guns, that it didn't really happen, etc seriously need their heads checked.
And there are PLENTY of them on FR.
Unless the civilian army zero talked about is not the suspected black youth gang types we automatically conjure up in our white minds and imaginations.
Don't forget, a whole lot of seemingly mature and educated white folks voted him in agaian.
Unless THAT'S a conspiracy also ...
(raising my hand in class ...)
I may be one of them ... but I prefer to look more mathanatically at the scene and determine the numbers don't add up.
We take pride (God forgive us) in our minds and what we think is intellect and reasoning ... and every ONE of us has benefitted and been grateful for FRepers asnd their knowledge and insight, and it is a negation of that intelligence to tell people we respect(ED) ... you're nuts.
You are right, SE Mom. This shooting really did happen.
I think people on the right are legitimately frightened from all the things obama has done to this country. Maybe it has caused some to lose their center of gravity, to know when something is a lie and when it is not. Sandy Hook is the catalyst behind the latest gun grab attempt. It was so horrific, the left is using it as an excuse to make a horrific attempt to disarm most of us. Some may think if we could just prove this was a lie, the crazy left would back off. They will NEVER back off. They need to be confronted on this issue in spite of and BECAUSE how horrific it was.
Trying to prove this was a hoax is wasting effort at beating the idiot gun grabbers back. But people are frightened. Sometimes it’s easier to believe in a conspiracy than to realize our country is going (has gone?) down the tubes.
And the gov’t would never get away from (secretly) supplying Mexican drug cartels with ‘scary’ guns so the current administration could use the deaths and blood-shed to make a case about 2nd Amendment Rights of U.S. Citizens??
Magic bullet, Tuskegee (AL), etc. I don’t put anything over on the gov’t that it can (try) to get away with without blackening its own eye(s). Until the light of Truth was shown on these few instances, they too were of the paranoia/conspiracy theory bend.
For example, how about that mentally-challenged unionized police officer in San Diego? A case should be made that all police should be disarmed because, clearly, even ONE maverick is quite enough.
Or mandate that ALL unionized LEOs be implanted with an electronic transponder so everyone knows the location of every police officer. Yeah, yeah I know but if all of these ULEOs are that honest, why would they object to tracking of their location? Clearly, we'd be able to track this renegade uLEO and ALL of society would be better off.
The reason for conspiracy is the result of our Government,
One thing for sure.... through experience, we all should recognize that when the MSM and the FEDS get involved in something that is a local incident, the TRUTH is the first casualty.
