A Lefty Killer?
Wall Street Journal ^ | February 8, 2013 | James Taranto

Conservatives leave out part of the Christopher Dorner story.

Remember when liberal journalists and politicians tried to incite a moral panic by blaming a series of violent crimes on the Tea Party, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News and assorted other bugbears? If you don't, Michelle Malkin has a refresher:

The 2009 massacre of three Pittsburgh police officers (which lib journos falsely blamed on Fox News, Glenn Beck, and the "heated, apocalyptic rhetoric of the anti-Obama forces"); the 2009 suicide insurance scam/murder hoax of Kentucky census worker Bill Sparkman (which New York magazine falsely blamed on Rush Limbaugh, "conservative media personalities, websites and even members of Congress"); the 2009 Holocaust-museum shooting (which MSNBC commentator Joan Walsh blamed on Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, and yours truly); the 2010 Times Square jihad bomb plot (which Mayor Michael Bloomberg falsely blamed on tea-party activists protesting Obamacare); and the 2011 Tucson massacre, which liberals continue to blame on former GOP vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Not all of these crimes were without political motive: The Pittsburgh and Holocaust Museum killers reportedly were white supremacists, and a "jihadi bomb plot" is political by definition. But the claim that conservative media figures or the Tea Party was somehow to blame was a scurrilous lie designed to stigmatize critics of the party in power.

The case of Christopher Dorner seems tailor-made for conservatives who would like to start a moral panic about left-wing violence--or just to enjoy a little payback. As the Los Angeles Times reports, Dorner, an erstwhile officer in the Los Angeles Police Department, "is wanted in connection with a double homicide in Irvine on Sunday and the shooting of three police officers, one fatally, in Riverside County on Thursday":

Check it out, WSJ says that “hey wait a minute...(paraphrasing)...this guy the cops are looking for has some conservative demons in his closet too...” But guess what “conservatives” the WSJ says the guy praised: Christie, Huntsmann (LOL) and G.H.W. Bush!

“Republican” does NOT necessarily mean “conservative”. Do these journ-o-lists know ANYTHING about ANYTHING???

Someone who vehemently opposes the conservative stance on the Second Amendment is no conservative. And that's like saying that someone had left a "manifesto" praising mostly leftists, and leftist stances, had also dropped in there, "Oh, and I like David Brooks too", that one thing would make them "conservative"

Anyway, I think that he threw the mildest "conservatives" he could in there on purpose, just so the left would have a "hook" from hetting the blame. I mean really, George HW Bush, that makes him a "conservative", in the context of everything else he said?

Its all about finger pointing and who to blame. Child like minds. Truth and facts have no business in any of this. When the truth comes out and it is evident that it is a democratic supporter it’s ignored and it goes away.

He is a crazy left wing cop killer at this moment stalking the next victim.

They own him, He thinks he’s been made a victim, he’s owed, he’s mad, angry like the grass roots wall street protesters its someone elses fault.

The guy was a KFI listener, praising Bill Handel ("effin awesome") and John and Ken. Whether this was his idea of psy ops or whether he really did live outside the typical leftist's echo chamber I don't know.

One thing is obvious, he may or may not be nets but he's definitely not stupid.

Of the three murdered one was black and the other asian not certain what race the other one was.
Yet as Michelle Malkin shows in her web site on “twitter” coverage “Twitchy”. The bulk of responents believe they were white and the majority of comments were of the “get whitey” (my description not Malkins) type.

Twitter should not be used as a barometer of public sentiment but of stupidity.

Exactly - wanting to use his own weapons while disarming others is a decidedly left-wing mind(and I use the word loosely)-set.

Attention Freepers: Look up Mark James Essex of New Orleans that was killed Jan 7, 1973. The parallels are there. Let no one say that a black racist on a rampage is an aberration. Its happened several times.

I don’t think the journalitst care. In the end this guy will be a tea party, Sarah lovin’, Romney votin’, conservative, uncle Tom, turncoat. Doesn’t help their cause if he isn’t. Too bad his manifesto got screen captured before it was taken down. Of course most folks will never see it let alone read it. Looks like ex-cops/military will be denied firearms ownership. Seems to me that this guy got bullied by the “system” just a little too much. How’s that gun control working for you mr. villagarosa? Radical left wing extremists (demokkkrats) know no bounds when they are trying to achieve their goals.

Yeah, as soon as I read here that the DUmp monkeys were making a folk hero of him, I said they must not have seen the pictures of his victims yet. None of the victims are white.

If the media wasn’t so set on hiding it, people would know that the have been quite a few black mass murderers and serial killers-more than their proportion of the population, in fact. It’s very easy to find the information on the internet, but people don’t want to know this.

There are two realities: Actual reality, and the manufactured reality that the journ-0-lists create for the Obama Regime, for propaganda purposes. The low-information voters are fed a steady diet of the latter.

Surprised that moochelle antoinette hasn’t banned them from that diet. Seems they’re getting bigger and lazier all the time. Actual reality sucks a lot of the time but to some of us it IS reality. Lenny Rifenstahl would be proud. (Or whatever the name was.)
