Bologna. He calls a terrorist threat to a high school so he can spend the afternoon diddling his 16 year old girlfriend and captures it on video and expects us to believe this "ain't his lifestyle"? That is his lifestyle.
When I was in high school a guy and his girl got caught in this mostly stupid law.
He had just turned 18, she was just 16, the father (of the girl) caught them together.
The guy was charged and forever tagged as sexual predator, spent time in jail....when she turned 18, they got married.
I get the laws but good lord some common sense should be applied.
Bet he enjoys his 18 months is prison. < / sarc

So, the big problem is that he recorded it on his cellphone. We’re in big trouble in this country.
The whole sex offender registry is a joke. If a person is a threat, sentence that person appropriately. Once their sentence is up, he/she should be FREE, period.
Punishment for all crimes should be taken care of in prison, but once that person has “paid their debt to society”, all rights should be restored. They should be able to own firearms, there should be no criminal history on their record, etc.

But I believe that child molesters should NEVER be released from prison, if it is such that you have to worry about them once they leave prison, then perhaps they should never be allowed to leave prison.

That the problem...Sex offenders shouldn’t go free....they’re repeaters. This da isn’t a sex offender...just ignorant of the law and kinda DUMB.
Being an amputee, he will probably serve his time in a medical prison of some sort. I can’t see them putting him in a maximum security facility.
When you’re 20 you should know that it’s not wise to have a 16 year old girlfriend.
