Iraq allegedly has agreed to allow 50,000 Iranian Basij militia troops into the country to help suppress riots against the government and seize Arab and other foreign embassies, including that of the United States. The two leaders allegedly agreed to allow the Basij forces to attack and occupy the foreign embassies considered hostile to Iran in Baghdad, and to detain their staffs.

Our Community Organizer never said he would restrict his organizing to chi-town, or america. The islamo-fascism arm of the Bill Ayers / Alynski global initiative has his-self a new mandate for fo mo years.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basij

Estimates of the number of Basij vary, with its leadership giving higher figures than outside commentators. According to RFERL,

According to a former commander of the Basij, Brigadier General Mohammad Hejazi, the strength of the force in 2004 was 10.3 million. By 2007, its strength stood at 12.6 million. The current commander of the Basij, Hasan Taeb, told the semi-official Fars news agency on November 25 that the force now numbers 13.6 million, which is about 20 percent of the total population of Iran. Of this number, about 5 million are women and 4.7 million are schoolchildren. ... In fact the Basij may be able to mobilize no more than 1.5 million men and women of military age.
An earlier study in 2005 by a Washington think-tank, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, put “the number of full-time, uniformed, and active members at 90,000, with another 300,000 reservists and some 1 million that could be mobilized when necessary
***************************************************

With even the lesser of these numbers, being able to mobilize 50,000 is a fingersnap away.
So do not take this as a joke. The internal intel agencies of the US are taking this report seriously.

The Basij forces, dependent on the Revolutionary Guards, are estimated to have several million members, although the number of its active members is unknown.

Western experts believe nearly 100,000 of Basij forces, in cooperation with Revolutionary Guards, are trained to intervene in anti-regime riots.
************************************************

It was the basij that put down the Green Revolution and they imported foreigners who wouldn’t feel ‘sympathy’ or empathy for the students during the uprising.
Millions stand ready to be called into active service.

That is currently possible, but Obozo wants to reduce our nukes to 300 and then to Zero.

These are absolutely amazing times.

FUBO!

If Iran sent that many troops into Iraq, the Iranian dissidents might be able to actually overthrow the Iranian Mullahs they hate so bad.

Yep.

And my reading of the book does not include a direct involvement of anything that looks like the US.

Obozo is not the anti-Christ, but he is an evil b_tard and serves the Father-of-Lies.

LMAO

I laugh every time I read that.

I doubt there are any Iranian dissidents to amount to anything. They are probably like Republican politicians -—frightened to death.

Once they enter Iraq they become 50,000 targets. Hopefully there’s a nice military column in the desert. We have the forces available.

think what you want.

I saw a lot of them lose their life the last time.

Those are not forgotten. The foreign stooges who helped repress them are not forgotten.

Now closer to home, many here do not forget the abuses of our chains on government. Dem & GOP

The time will come for punishment.

I would like to see them try this. Our embassy in Iraq has barracks for 30,000 troops and can be replenished from both the air and the river. It would be a huge fight. I would welcome with such a fight with Iran.
