The main purpose of US President Barack Obama's visit to Israel in the spring is to warn Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu against attacking Iran, unnamed officials told Army Radio on Sunday.
According to the officials, the urgency of the trip is because in his speech to the United Nations in September, Netanyahu had flagged the spring of 2013 as a significant time in the context of the Iranian nuclear threat.

I don't think that would matter any more. The American press would not report it and if it ain't in the NYT, people, while they may believe it, will ignore it and the president, the Democrats, and the Courts will ignore it for sure. It will not be "real."

The answer is too simplistic. It is not the Chicago way. Obama is coming to make a mortal threat. That is what street thugs do. What is the mortal threat?

True, but they don't want an instant wartime shock. They'd rather sell the idea of carbon taxes, and parasitize the energy cashflow for their schemes. A sudden war-caused leap to $200 a barrel is not going to make people immediately happy about green.
