I'd love to Change the World.

But I don't know what to do. And I leave it up to you.

Common Sense 2.0 (Thomas Paine, for those who have been sleeping)

I have an idea that I'd like to vet out here.

A solution. Build more of these and place pamphlets within. A dual purpose. More jobs. You get the message...ummm...across, in anonymity.

.......If you can’t get them where they think, get them where they feel..........

Thank you.

It’s the WHY !!!!

Emotion is not connected to the What or How.

It’s the why, that drives us.

It’s also no wonder that the question of why is under attack and there are efforts to remove it from scientific consideration.

With much of the world dancing madly backwards, well, there ain’t no cure.

I’ve spent the better part of the last 30 years,
in one from or another, in sales and Financial services

And this person's service has been in Medicine...
Suffering is hard to watch, especially when self inflicted

One sees a world full of self-inflicted wounds
Profoundly misdirected senses of self

A good discussion is in C.S. Lewis’
“The Great Divorce”

If a hundred thousand copies of “Common Sense”, the original by Thomas Paine, were distributed today, it would resonate among the people.

Except that a simple google search would identify the author in two seconds and the message, by default, will have lost all meaning.

Conservatives and Republicans are spinning their wheels trying to figure out the best message. I’ll add Evangelical Christians to the mix.

Get this now.

It’s not the Message.

It’s the Messenger.

It is good to be old.

I'm of the same thinking. What a difference between growing up in the late 40s and 50s and now. It's sad that children growing up now will never experience the kind of freedoms and trust in others we experienced. It makes me sad to see the corruption of almost every institution and belief system we lived under.

But can you play this?

Solo?

Apologies to Mr. Linear, as I wasn’t going to make this about music.

I applaud your thinking. I am at the point that taking over the parties is the only way to change it. We (the silent majority) have been so focused on keeping a job, raising kids, and all the other things that we allowed the wackos to take over the parties (all of them) and it is time to reengage and take it back.

"I’m talking about changing the culture."

If our religious leaders would quit fighting with one another like fishwives tying to outdo each other and concentrate on the true meaning of Christianity. Working together instead of against each other maybe we could change the direction of the morals and ethics which are the basis of culture.

One person can do much, but all of our religious leaders pulling together could do so much more.

“God Damn, well I declare, have you seen the like, their walls are built of cannon balls, their motto is ‘Don’t Tread on Me’..”
You are 100% correct about the songs of that age applying now against the Left. Good post..

The media of today has pushed nearly everyone into their own corner of fear.

Doors unlocked

Be home for supper.

Long gone

the pressure of peers.

Liberty replaced

by your unknown face.

Skipping from day to day.

It is time to UNDERMINE the foundations of false belief.

It is time to reach the hearts of the zombie liberal.

This is not rocket science.

This is Sales !!!

This is selling without the customer knowing you are a salesman.

Once he knows, you and the message are toast.

But can you play this?

As soon as I clicked the link to see it was Adrian Belew, I knew the answer was "not in this lifetime!"

Anyone know what Belew's biggest hit was? Bet they'd be surprised to learn it was this:

And in retrospect, you can hear his brilliant playing all over this track.

Thanks,

There are hundreds of songs that will spin progressives into cognitive dissonance.

I propose we use this and other tactics to undermine their faith in government.

Awesome

I’m not a guitar player, I know he plays that song “out of tune”.

While it may be selectively de-tuned, I would love your insight.

You want to reason with government junkies, the moocher base of the Democrat party, and convince them they should give up the “free stuff” their Democrat politicians confiscate from working taxpayers (”Republicans”) and hand over to them in exchange for their votes? Reason with them that’s it’s for their own good? Yeah well, good luck with that.

I am calling for full on propaganda !!!

But in my opinion, it MUST be anonymous.

You apparently failed to either read or fully comprehended my post.

I have no interest in taking on the established institutions directly.

My interest is in undermining their authority.
