A lot of things Bush did was bad.
0bama soundly criticized Bush for it.
When 0bama came to power, everything was Bush's fault.
Then 0bama did the same bad things, only much more of it.
When asked, 0bama said it was OK when he did it because Bush did it.
However, it was still bad and it was still Bush's fault.
And the media accepted this screwball circular reasoning!

That would have been bad for Bush because it would have been non-stop bashing of a former president, however, Bush should have vigorously defended himself against all charges while he was in office because many of the lefts lies about him stuck
