Cabin In Dorner Barricade Situation Engulfed In Flames (FBI Hostage Roasting Team?)
CBS Los Angeles ^ | ebruary 12, 2013

SEVEN OAKS (CBSLA.com) —  The cabin quadruple-murder suspect Christopher Dorner is believed to be holed up in is now fully engulfed in flames, according to CBS2′s Carter Evans, who also reported that tear gas was fired into the house before the fire broke out.

A shot was also fired around that time, and sources tell CBS2′s Juan Fernandez that tracks were found leading to a horse corral, which may mean Dorner was able to escape.

LAPD Cmdr. Andy Smith Tuesday urged Dorner to turn himself in as a gun battle and barricade situation raged on in San Bernardino County.

“Enough is enough. It’s time to turn yourself in. End the bloodshed,” Smith said, adding that Dorner, who allegedly shot and killed his fourth victim — a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy — Tuesday afternoon, was holed up in a Seven Oaks cabin. The home, ironically, is located near the Sheriff’s outpost that was set up earlier this week as part of the search for him.

Dormer is also accused of shooting a second deputy, who was undergoing surgery after being airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Smith, who says Dorner likely has access to television and other media outlets, requested that media helicopters pull out of the area.

The San Bernardino District Attorney’s Office also asked that reporters in the area to refrain from tweeting about the ongoing situation.

The sheriff has asked all members of the press to stop tweeting immediately. It is hindering officer safety. #Dorner

Dorner reportedly broke into a couple’s home and tied them up — possibly days ago — before stealing their vehicle and fleeing the scene Tuesday afternoon.

He was spotted by authorities around 1:30 p.m. and repeated gunshots were exchanged on Glass Road. KCAL9′s Carter Evans, who was reporting nearby, is safe despite loud gunfire that could be heard during his live report.

Dorner then fled into a forested area and barricaded himself in a cabin. A SWAT team was also called in to set up a perimeter around the area.

I can go for that, at least it’s fair. There are no heroes in this.

Has Obama taken credit for killing Dorner yet?

If it’s good enough for Dorner, it’s good enough for Mumia.

Fry Mumia!

Crazy idea but... but does anyone think this whole incident will in any way encourage law enforcement to reconsider its relationship with the community it “serves”?

I'm pretty sure the LAPD will continue to hold Angelenos with a mixture of contempt, disgust and arrogance.

Perhaps LE should think twice about giving the perp 2000 possible targets.

Sorry, but officer safety not only does not trump the first amendment, it is counter to the safety of the public ... which needs to know not only where this dirtbag killer is...but where these out of control roid rage cops are.

When they began no knock raids in other than hostage situations they pretty much abandoned the days where protection between law enforcement and the public was mutually achievable.

They have already filled two vehicles full of innocent bystanders full of lead and there is every reason to believe that folks in their own homes are no more safe from them.

Cue up the wrong house pic.

I don’t agree or like Dornan, but it is becoming clear - Waco and now, that the Feds like to burn people.

“What does it make the LAPD for blindly shooting up cars in the middle of the day where the passengers were neither the sex nor color of the perp?”

I believe the media described that as, “On edge.”

Here's a description of the cabin complex from its website:
The cabins are the original cabins built so many years ago. They maintain the characteristics of that era such as hardwood floors and deep mahogany panels, keyhole locks and paned windows, and large, clawfoot bathtubs.

RESTORATION
Unfortunately, the cabins fell into disrepair over years of neglect. We are in the process of restoring the cabins to their original beauty, but we are not completely done.

What we have done -
All the cabins have brand new mattresses and box springs, new refrigerators and microwave ovens, and new hot water heaters. All shower stalls have been replaced. Most kitchens and bathrooms have been tiled.

What needs to be done -
Our current project is replacing windows and doors. Also, we are beginning the process of painting the outside of the buildings.

We hope you will come visit us and share in the excitement of restoring these cabins. Many of you who have been here in the past have commented on the improvements we've made. There are many more to come.

I could care less if he was roasted, toasted or shot dead. Just so long as he is gone and not put on trial wasting millions in taxpayer money. Plus he would love to showboat and make a circus out of any trial

So better he is on his way to meet the devil.

Obama and the dems are composing the Chris Dorner Song using the melody of the Horst Wessel Lied.

The police, like anybody else, make mistakes, and the time they have to make the decision to fire is about a milisecond before the other person gets to fire on them and blow them away. So there will be errors, but that’s the fault of the criminal and not of the police.

So police are not to blame for shooting 2 innocent women in a vehicle that did not match the description?

I’ve got to hand it to Dorner, he fulfilled his Dream of Killing as many people as his God Obama did in Benghazi.

What was said on this thread to make you say that? The actual quotes, please.
